Although that would fit the logical pattern I don't believe that would be easy to create. The SR2 was a massive investment for Cerberus. Depending on your ending I'm not really sure if they would even consider repairing your ship if it were damaged let alone making you a new one.

However if they decide to try to pull it off. Make it so all the crew members come together in a voltron-esque formation sequence complete with fast moving, low detail, backgrounds. As the giant robot, deemed Model-SR3, you sword fight the reapers in the style of Zone of Enders. The awesome strobe lighting effects from the exchange of blows will be well worth the seizures it induces.

No.

Perhaps BioWare will pull a MGS4, though, in that we see the original Normandy rebuild and flown by Kaishley and co.

Of course there'll be a SR-3. Shepard is not so far gone that he'll steal SR-2 Normandy from Cerebus.

Besides, the SR-2 is already full. People keep crying about adding squadmates from ME1, yet never think of where to put them. Make Liara sleep with Legion in the AI core?

She can bunk with my shepard she's still my LI. But for me my crew quarters are looking empty.............. I didnt get through the realy in time to save the normandy crew. Theres places the other squad memebers can stand and chill.

Legion should also be upgradable into a Geth Prime.

There better not be a hole.

I'm inclined to say no, SR2 is kick ass. A dreadnaught size ship is easier to see from a window from further away, so the stealth systems will be less useful.

But EDI does have some unknown protocols, who knows what those are (anti theft system self destructs the ship).

I think upgrading the ship each time is a cool thing. I don't think we'll need something as dramatic as before, maybe a crash landing or something but they can't just kill you off again and blow up the ship that'd be silly. (It would be an amusing way to short-cut the suicide mission's carryover. "Oh turns out the reapers showed up this time and killed the rest of your 12 guys sorry :( )

I'm sorta holding out hope for, not an SR-3, but an SR-2.x Beta Release 3 with Service Pack 1 installed that comes outfitted with monster truck landing gear suspension, illegally tinted cockpit windows, a curiously loud exhaust note, racing stripes, and a Woody Woodpecker sticker stuck on the hull right above the entrance door.

Maybe a great concept for DLC? Oh ya, and a fuzz buster too!

Maybe a more upgraded Normandy SR-2.

Let the SR-3 be a Reaper, with Shepard indoctrinating the ship and his crew! Funny huh.

We also need Legion to be upgradable to Geth Collossus. Ofcourse he'd need newer quarters, like the cargo deck.

It damn well better.

That would be cool.. As long as he can transform into a semi-truck.

and if they recast his voice actor with Peter Cullen.

I thought the nature of Geth being software means Legion can simply download himself into a Geth Colossus. Or even a Geth battleship .

Legion is a unique platform: no other known geth has this many programs running on it. He could probably use the bodies of around 10 geth.

I Think its more likely that the main story will involve quests where we are seeking the Tech to UPGRADE the ship for the upcoming battle with the Reapers. So I think it will be the same ship but vastly improved.

"At the end of Disc 2 in ME3, Shepard defeats a Reaper by disabling it. He uploads EDI into its brain, effectively transforming EDI into a Reaper, who then becomes the new Normandy SR-3, Reaper class. The Reaper-Normandy then becomes the new flagship of the Council fleet as it sails to battle against the Reapers."

... I don't know whether I find this idea stupid or totally awesome. XD

"Ugh" to whoever suggested an SR-3 dreadnought.

I can't see a reason why Shepard would get an SR-3 and even if it'd make sense it'd become a cliche of the Mass Effect games that EVERY title he gets a new ship.

I definitely dislike games that do the cliches over and over for no particular reason (aside from maybe because they can, which isn't enough on itself).

I dunno, if Shep's not working for Cerberus any more than having the SR2, riddled with bugs and surveillance, seems kinda silly. But who knows, prehaps the dev team can just re-fit and upgrade the SR-2 a little rather than completely re-doing it from scratch.

Although it probably won't happen, a more customizable Normandy would be cool. Custom paint jobs and everything. That'd mean cutscenes couldn't be pre-rendered, straining the xbox360 even more. It barely coped with the final run in ME2 as it is.

Still, a man can dream.

I reckon it'll be the SR-2, but with various upgrades and/or redesigned since it got it's ass kicked in ME2.

I hope there isn't. It'd be pretty damn trite to have The Normandy destroyed and remade again, especially so soon. The SR2 is fine... just allow me to get rid of the Cerberus decals.

We'll need a bigger ship to kill reapers.....maybe the SR3 could be a gigantic dreadnught and we could have the SR2 docked on it.....ah it's good to dream. But yeah I am really hoping for a dreadnaught.....reverse engineered collector tech maybe....I gave Cerberus all I could so hopefully they can give me a nice, extremely advanced dreadnaught to slap reapers with.

They could adapt the Normandy to dock with a Dreadnought and yet use the Normandy as a form of a Command Deck. The elevator could then be used to head inside the larger vessel. And if the player needs to do a recon mission the Normandy just needs to undock and the XO of the Dreadnought will just use the secondary Command Deck.

a SR3 should be like a Enterprise D ship inside crossbred with a LARGE Scale Prometheus ship...

or a large Stealth Starship Carrier of smaller stealth ships

I'll bet upgrades will expand it further in ME3. But I think you'll be sticking with the SR2, ((Not that I wouldn't mind having a ship thats HWOOG and takes awhile to get from one part to the other.))

but it belongs to cerberus ... I doubt if sheppard works for them in M E 3, maybe returning to the Alliance for duty, thus likely getting a new stealthy starship.:alien:
