Personally though, would definitely prefer to keep the SR-2, a new ship would have to be pretty freaking awesome.

totally...something new. like a prototype dreadnught ... just as the normandy sr1 was a prototype of turian and human technology combined.masterthehero wrote...
I would definitely prefer to keep the SR-2 but considering you can completely ignore upgrading the ship entirely. I wouldn't be surprised if an SR-3 were to come by, or if they decided to promote the Commander and give him a really big ship to go toe to toe with the reapers.

the sr2 is just the same as the sr1... they only changed the interior (adding turned on lights)... nothing new really.

I know this may sound trivial, but I'd really like to see the captain's quarters have more of a purpose. It would be nice to have some sort of mini games on Shep's private terminal though. And maybe actually getting medals for earning achievements that can be put up on a display like the ship models.

Really though, this all boils down the one thing. I already lost the first Normandy. Don't kill of the second one when I'm just getting to know it!

the SR2 is the SR1... just with the lights on and different rooms... a SR3 would likely be the same thing... they should rearranged the rooms a bit and change the interiors.Lougi wrote...
Definitely going to stick with the SR-2 in my opinion. It'd be a huge stretch to shoehorn in another ship. Far to similar to 2 for my tastes. Not to mention, as has been brought up, it's the most advanced ship in the galaxy. Where do you go from there if you do bring in another ship?

why would they want a genocidal robot onboard a ship named Legion (sovereign's reaper fleet was called legion)?annihilator27 wrote...

It damn well better.
Legion should also be upgradable into a Geth Prime.
That would be crazy, Epic transformation scene.

Let the SR-3 be a Reaper, with Shepard indoctrinating the ship and his crew! Funny huh.
We also need Legion to be upgradable to Geth Collossus. Ofcourse he'd need newer quarters, like the cargo deck.
I love your attention to detail. LMAO!
Thanks

Or shepherd steals the normandy and takes it to the alliance to get debugged and get the alliance touch to it or simply the alliance buys the normandy off cerberus

Who needs hub worlds while your ship can be a city?
This will be your XO (who cares he outranks you, he'll still be your XO)

Imagine Kirk and Shepard fighting over Alien chicks, that would be priceless

Normandy SR-3....dreadnought! booya son
The problem is, drednoughts won't be called Normandy, because only frigates are named after great battles of humanity. I forgot what were dreadnoughts called for. Highest mountains like Kilimanjaro? i forgot

How are you going to fit your original characters into the Normandy?
Ashley/Kaiden, Liara, and Wrex.
That's at least 3 more rooms or spaces that will have to be shared to bring back some of the original squad.

Well technically, you never get full reign of deck 5 of the SR-2. You fight an Occulus there and you can see the Shuttle and Hammerhead there from the deck 4 window. You could have some crew reside there. Just like Garrus, Ashley, and Wrex posted up in the cargo bay of the SR-1.

I doubt all the crew from ME2, even if you saved all 12, are going to be there in ME3. Liara would likely be in with Chakwas if she returns anyway, or if you romanced her in your quarters. Same if you romanced Kaiden or Ashley, who would otherwise probably be in the mess if you didn't. I doubt Wrex will return as a squaddie; he seems too caught up in Tuchanka affairs.

Good point. If ME3 has 12 squad mates as well. You have to figure that 4 to 6 of them would be new and the rest would be returning characters from the first two games.

That's the reason why I will borrow the game first, look what will happen.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...
I think upgrading the ship each
time is a cool thing. I don't think we'll need something as dramatic as
before, maybe a crash landing or something but they can't just kill you
off again and blow up the ship that'd be silly. (It would be an amusing
way to short-cut the suicide mission's carryover. "Oh turns out the
reapers showed up this time and killed the rest of your 12 guys sorry)
Or I will ask somebody if ME3 is like ME2.
But if you get killed again....
Farewell ME Universe.

Keep your SR3, as long as SR2 has a bar as an optional upgrade, it will be amusing to see the possible opportunities.
The SR2 already has a bar... Shep just needs to find the klepto a new place to bunk

way. All i want is to be able to go to the Shuttle Bay.
For ME 3, if we do keep the SR-2 i would like the ability to scrub off the Cerberus logos.
Maybe give us our own logos to choose from, maybe even give the ship a paint job.
