On the PC you could download the save game editor: http://www.masseffec...es.com/mods.php and locate your code in there.

You can't on 360. Best you can do is to remake it in the editor using the imported face as a reference. It took me about twenty minutes total, but I was pretty particular about it.

Can't you just start a game and take the code from there? Or doesn't it give you a code for imported faces? (haven't checked)

On X360 try this, import the character, say you're going to customize the face, but don't change anything. Start the game up, check your Squad menu for the code.

My imported characters all have codes visible now, but my first playthrough character did not.  I really have no idea how or why.  I think it might be related to what you said.  To clarify one thing, if you choose to customize an imported character, it will reset the face to the default, but if you then cancel out of the customize screen, you can go back to the imported face.  I think that will get you the face code.  If it doesn't get the code at the character creator screen, I'm pretty sure it shows up in game on the level up screen.

Like I said, I'm not really sure of the mechanics, but I'm pretty sure that is what I have done to get the codes to show up.
