Hello, I purched the digital deluxe edition off steam. I bought the 400 points from bioware but when i go to dlc in game i dont see return to ostagar to purchase....Any ideas do i need to visit an npc in the game or something to unlock the download

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you are in the correct forum and remind you that absolutely NO DLC is available for the mac version except that which came with your copy when you bought it (normal vs. deluxe). You will not see any DLC to download with the mac version. You cannot get RtO.

Teachnically, you can get it - and install it - you just can't *buy* (and therefore authorise) it. I also think that it wont run without the 1.02 patch, which is not available for Mac.

So, effectively, you cannot get RtO in the sense that you cannot play it. However, some (minor) DLC is available if you hunt around and are prepared to install it manually.

Actually I just noticed today there are plenty of official DLC available for free, namely all the different preorder items. Check out the list here, you have to scroll down to point 4. Hrm, guess I could just copy them here:

Opening some of these in Modazipin made me notice the addin detail window is bugged if you resize it. I might release a fix for that in a few days, the install button still works.

Modazipin currently does not support installing offer DLC, but even if it did, you can not use the links in that other thread to get the paid-for DLC, since there is no way to pay for them in the Mac version. Still, it could be useful for anyone having already bought them for PC, so I guess I should work on it.

When using Safari, you might have to hold the option key when clicking the links to download the file instead of showing garbage in the browser.

You can install "official DLC:s" with Modazipin on the Mac, however as stated before, RtO needs 1.02, which is not available for Mac.

He said he bought it off Steam, so he's probably in the wrong place. Wasn't trying to be unfriendly, just didn't feel like wasting words.

Yeah, I realized that eventually!



As for the "official DLC" with Modazipin, wouldn't the user have had to preorder the game for those DLC to work or no? Also, wouldn't the user have had to buy the DLC for them to work, even if you have the actual files? I would think that's how it works normally on the PC version.
