Im starting to think that cerberus is behind the Dark energy mentioned
in mass effect 2 if you noticed during the entire game where the
illusive man is.. the star in which his room looks apon is red but at the
very end of the game its blue. Red giant to blue dwarf in matter of
days, weeks, or however long mass effect 2 takes.. equals dark matter
people..... whats the motive here.
Opinions?

It changes colour if your paragon.

this isnt my name wrote...
It changes colour if your paragon.
Thankyou! Cause I totally picked the wrong decision first and went renegade, then replayed the mission and did Paragon and was like 'wtf was this star blue before too?'
so that clears that up...
I think the Illusive Man is a hell of a lot more than we think he is, that's why I refused to hand a people juice factory over to him...

It changes if your paragon or renegade, but i do think there behind it all. They probably doing it 2 kill all the aliens in the universe.

I'm almost positive that the magical color-changing star is just a superficial part of the game.
But I felt like the game gave us very little regarding the "Dark Energy" thing. It's mentioned several times, but we hardly get any indication about how it gets there, or what it does.
Other than mess up Haestrom's star.

I don't think Cerberus would pool huge resources just to see what happened to one particular star just cause they could.
Dark Energy, I think, is going to play a major role in ME3 because of all the references to it in ME2 - but the star behind TIM is just going Super Nova is all.

Still even if it changes color based on morality seems odd thats all I still think cerberus is behind the dark energy and I think cerberus should go to hell even tho they brought shepard back from the dead

Stars don't change from Red Giant to Blue Dwarf, ever.

I reckon "Dark Energy" is going to be a key ploy device in ME3. Either the Reapers are behind it, or it may be a side effect of extensive Mass Effect manipulation.

If you read the description of the Singularity biotic power, you're throwing dark energy. Just thought I'd put that out there. I also find it interesting that Ms.Parasini mentions investigating some recent hacking related to dark energy research. Tali, if I'm not mistaken, and Liara mentions it as well. I do think these mentions in ME2 are foreshadowing for ME3. Exactly what role will it play, I'm not too sure.

Well know one knows how shepard was brought back to life, what if he is some how tied to this particular ball of energy? A wild theory I know but throwing it out there.
