1) I dunno how.

2) I may have created an alternate login to the SocialNetwork (beta) thinking that my old account name was taken here.

I need to find out how to link this account, to my old forum/main bioware account.  I think I did something wrong and I want all of my info to work together (like old registrations for NWN and Mass Effect 1)

sacrifice a few virgins perhaps... I've tried everything else. It just wont recognise this account as my ingame one, despite the fact that I've linked this account to the same EA account I log into the game with. I've got DLC on this account that won't get recognised in game. WTF do I do???

I'm not sure how to do the link at all. I had problems logging in when creating this one so I just created it so i could bloody play. But I don't want to get stuck with two accounts with bioware instead of just one with all my old info and such tied too it. I also apparently never registered NWN2 and need to tie that to them but don't want to do that until it's all one acount.

To link your old account to your EA account, go here. Make sure the e-mail address is the same for both accounts. I'm not sure if it's possible to link two accounts with different display names but you can reclaim your old display name (by re-registering).

Ok I have linked my account via that link (Thank you very much Snoteye) I was wondering if / hoping that a bioware account rep could fix my community name? I've had this account and followed in this community for quite a while, if I haven't been that active overall.

I linked my accounts via the above link Snoteye posted(gracias).

Still can't access my DLC in-game... even when my BSN email and my ea account email are the same and it's registered on this account...

Gwydeon79, your OP describes my problem perfectly; the account linkage from the main login screen simply does not work, although Snoteye's link seems to work. It's just that now I need my name switched over...as you can see, I was sort of banking on it. I've used my old name (Maul Rat) at BioWare for like six years; I'd like to keep it.

Edited this last part.  Too much coffee, I guess?  Thx for the cold water slap, Gwydeon.  (His next post referred to this one.)

Now now railing at them about things isn't going to get us anywhere. Let's just stick to

"I had trouble or am having trouble linking my account and I want my name here to reflect my old/main account name"

I have the same issue. I had an old EA account under an email address I no longer have access to. I contacted EA support and asked them to sync my gamertag to a new account and when they did, it broke my dragonage saves as well as my available DLC including preorder content. I contacted EA support and they told me that this happens sometimes when two EA accounts are merged. Basically, some of the data from the old account is locked so to speak and someone has to manually go in and merge the data to make sure everything transfers over. I was told yesterday that this takes 24-48 hours. In the mean time, I have put 27 hours into Dragonage and can't access my saves because it's looking for DLC content that isn't showing up under the new account.

I suggest everyone be very careful with your EA accounts as the profile management system is horrible and very buggy. I will say that EA support was very helpful and polite so hopefully it will be resolved within the time specified.
