You could screencap the Normandy loading screens and work from there.

some is remaking the SR2 and another is making a few of the ships from ME
im not sure if you guys will beable to view the images or not. you may have to be a member of the site.

I'm doing a tabletop rpg of Mass Effect and am hoping to get deck plans eventually. I'm sure someone will put them together down t he road

But indeed, not nearly enough bunks unless people share because they work round the clock shifts. Kinds of nasty but not unheard of on naval vessels

Well there is a bunk room too on the crew deck. The pods are likely for officers. It doesn't look like they share bunks in the SR2. The number of crew is revealed at one pont in the conversation. But see if you can sleep 25, it should answer your question.

could you upload your photoshop work, i'm not really good working with that, but it's easier to make suggestions when knowing exactly what you mean
As for the cockpit ("It's called bridge, asari have cockpits! No wait, they don't") and the relation to the main gun, you could use the holo next to the galaxy map to get a better idea of that.
