Just what the title says. Who thought it would be a good idea to make them completely invincible (at least on hardcore) before they stood up? I mean come ON!

It's not so bad. Most of those Creepers are triggered when their nearby Node is damaged past a certain point. So I just stand back, shoot the Node once or twice to trigger one Creeper, massacre it, then shoot the Node again to trigger another Creeper etc. etc.

However, there is ONE section where the Creepers are stationary on the stairs, but are triggered when you go past them, resulting in your party getting sandwiched between them and the Asari clone and a few Creepers ahead. That part can be deadly if you're not prepared for it. (Preparation = Lift/Singularity/a grenade with Anti-Thorian gas in it)

Best counter to creepers...melee them and knock them down.

If you can get LoS on a node from a distance, you can blow it up sending most of the nearby creepers to their instant graves with it. Less XP but if you are sick of shotgunning those resilient buggers (and on insanity they are VERY resilient), it's a fast way to get past some of them.

Wait, wait, you can get tired of shotgunning creepers?  Inconceivable.

Yes, that's the section that really pissed me off. It was even worse that I was an adept with Tali and Liara, so I had no one with anything other than light armor, so the creepers were pretty much one hit kills on my teammates.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

That was annoying, but at least you knew where they would be coming from once they poped up. :P
