Now it won't even let me delete my character to see if that helps, neither will it let me manage my screenshots! It's just one problem after another here.

The manage characters/screenshots function was specifically disabled in the last build because there's a back-end issue they're waiting to get fixed.

As I've said before I have the 360 version and I have finally gotten some of the statistics for my characters but only one of them is showing up in the photo part of the screens. The other three "photos" are just showing the background. I've manually saved more times than I can count, so that's not the problem, but I am wondering if overwriting any previous saves might somehow affect the character's info and photo? I'm no expert but that's the only thing I can think of that might be the difference between the character's photo that showed and the one's that haven't.

I've tried removing/changing all my equipment and then saving, countless times, and sometimes it seemed to work and produce an update while at others it didn't, very random.
And I always tried to avoid writing over existing saves, in case that was connected to the problem.

Some of my characters that were stuck at level one have now updated to three, while the characters that should now be at level five and six, respectivly, are still at three and not moving.

I really can't see any pattern to this problem at all, or to the fixes that work/don't work at certain times; I hope there will be some kind of solution to this soon.

Still not working, it just brings back old deleted characters. And now of course I can't even delete them again since they turned that function off.

So annoying.

I'm about 60hours into the game with a character created in the Character Creator and I've never had any information up date at all.

The character Creator was playing up a bit when I created my character and never updated it after I made some changes to the appearance and tried uploading again. It also never uploaded the second Character I created in it.

Well I kinda read this on a Bioware FAQ somewhere. Profiles are only updated when they are viewed and not otherwise, not sure if this is true but...

Mine hasn't updated since last week, and I finished the game. I would really like to see my character in the Legion Armor. :/

You should be able to make it an Automatically started service by running services.msc (I believe that should work for XP, Vista and 7). In the list it should show Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater. Start the service if it's not already running, and switch it from Manual to Automatic starting Preference.

My achievements seem to be glitching intermittently, in addition to the character stats not being updated. There's definitely a problem on BioWare's end which needs sorted.

Using the 360 version. Most of my achievements show up, but my character is about 6 levels behind what it should be. Character portrait isn't showing up either =(

Mine hasn't updated since the launch date. Hopefully they will get around to fixing the issues all of us are having.

Mine still are not updating even though my achievements update almost instantly (within minutes). I am also still having issues with deleted characters reappearing. Before the manage option was disabled I was able to force an update on one of my character by deleting all that were deleted from my xbox. As you can see though, my profile picture isn't showing up either.

Mine doesn't update anymore either, no matter what I do. I wonder if it started when I applied the patch or if it is unrelated.

I tried everything and still nothing. The worst thing is, that some of you mentioned trying to delete the chars from the site, well mine just keeps coming back as level 1, even though I'm not updating and I deleted that character from the game as well! I don't know why it's doing this. I'm majorly frustrated.

no, it's service that updates list of available DLC, it has nothing to do with character updating on this page...

It's really weird, my mage character is uploading just fine now, but my first human noble which I played through the game with to level 21, is still stuck on 7. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I imported him from the early Character Creator?

My first playthrough character ended on Lv.22 with a few EXP to 23. It still hasn't updated from Lv.21 though. Then again, I haven't actually loaded him up since I started on my second playthrough--so that might also be partly the reason. It seems very random when and if the character information does update in all honesty. And I don't get why they have removed the nice fat BETA tag next to SocialNetwork in the header. (Like I've written elsewhere on these forums:) This is still highly a beta web service, it's definately not functioning as should be expected of it.

Then again, the web part of DA:O is only a minor part of the game anyways. It's nice to have there, and hopefully sorted eventually, but the game itself is still bloody fantastic, regardless if the SocialNetwork isn't all that to cheer about at the current state.

Mine was updating, even kept track of when I decided to go back to an older saved and my level dropped 5 levels. In fact, it was updating too well, kept adding back in characters I had deleted (even from my computer).

But then it stopped completely. I've made several more character since then that haven't been uploaded. I've tried changing equipment, saving, etc., but it's been doing nothing for several days now. Oh well. It's not like it's preventing me from playing the game so I guess it isn't that big of a deal, just thought you all should know.

There is a list of reasons that your characters may not be updating in the FAQ:  http://social.bioware.com/help.php

The game is very picky about when it decides to upload data, and there's not a lot that the website can do about that.   Try swapping some equipment and saving manually (not using quicksave).  Other workarounds are listed elsewhere in the forums and in the FAQ.

We are still looking into reports of character data not showing up on this site, and there may still be bugs in that.  Rest assured that the web team is working as hard as we can to make the site Just Work, and posts describing exactly what you've already tried will help us far more than a "me too".

So can we get a function in the game to force it upload our characters to the social site, like the "upload info" in the character creator?
