Tried modifying the .ini file with no sucess. I've also trying saving my game, changing eqiupment, and pretty much anything else suggested on this board. Looks like there is nothing we can do on our end but wait for the servers to start working.

Still not udated, I wished .ini and that other thing would work but I am playing on the 360. Really all I want is my profile photo to show up, but it has never come across to the web server go figure.

When I go to my characters, it seems like my kill count for my character goes up, but when I go to click on him it gives me this line.

"The specified game does not support online player profiles. "

Is anyone else having this specific problem?

Alright, went and switched my profile pic to my character and it lets me see his stats and it's almost up to date.  Do we need to change our profile pic to these specific characters to see their stats?

whoa....my profile finally updated...though just today. so not all my characters are there, just the one i made long ago and the newest one. Hopefully my rogue shows up soon!

out of curiosity, how many of you have changed your game shortcut to enable the in-game developer console? (for the PC folks).



For grins i started the "normal" game (without the console) and *that's* when it updated. Let's see if it lasts, heh

I've tried reading through it, and seeing where it has problems uploading and not.
I'm not sure I'm understanding it all (as I don't know what calls it is answering) but maybe Bioware could use those files - I wonder if they already get copies of those files if you have the right online options checked or not.

Anyone computer savvy should take a gander at their .log file and see if they can figure out something.

Nothing useful there for this issue, the logs don't mention profile uploads apart from saying that "Online Features" are initialized, and shut down at the end. No mentions of uploading profile successfully/failing to do so. Only things it seems to log during playing is saves and loads

In the other news, looks like my second playthrough character stopped updating as well, shame. Atleast it made all the way to L19 on the website this time :B

The only thing that I, personally, find really frustrating about this is when I see people post "I've been playing the game for a day and it JUST updated."

Since, you know, I've been playing since the 3rd and haven't seen a real update since the 4th.

Achievements, yes. Story, a little. Stats for the character I'm playing? Not so much, as in not at all.



I understand needing to iron out bugs, but -

why are newer subscribers having their accounts work, and subscribers who bought and registered when I did have their accounts working too?

Yeah.. on my profile page it say Takar is level 5.. however.. he's more like 17 and I've played him since the 3rd too.

Fixed potential corruption of character statistics



That was from the patch they released. Now, I might just be perceiving this wrong...But I'd say that has something to do with uploading statistics...right? Or, better yet, statistics in general. So...If statistics IN GENERAL are potentially being corrupt might be infer that perhaps Bioware has dropped the ball somewhere and it is indeed Bioware's fault and not just a mass amount of user error? Well, peg me for the jump to conclusions kinda guy, but I'd say yes.



Bioware, admit your at fault and I'd be happy to play the game and not **** about the social network, as would a large majority of these people, I would assume.

Yes currently all platforms are experiencing the updating issue. Or....Let me rephrase as a Bioware mod would, "Some select players across every platform we support are currently experiencing a issue with their Social Network accounts not updating. This is an isolated issue and by no means warrants you to make a thread 14 pages long with several dozen people contributing to prove it is not their lack of intellect, because we don't pay any attention anyways."

Same problem for me, playing on a PC. My first char stopped updating at level 17 and the timeline is stuck since Orzammar. Now I've finished the game and started other characters that all appear to be at level 1, even if my trophies are updated relatively quickly. I've spent a lot of time reading forums and trying stuffs (.ini edition, restart of the service, reading the log and character xml files) but so far it didn't work.

I thought of ways to investigate this problem, maybe by tracking the data that goes out and comparing it with people for whom it works. But on the other hand, I don't want to spend more time on this. It's sad because even if it's an awesome feature, I would understand that servers would fail under such huge load and move on.

Might be worth deleting characters from the online profile post-patch and seeing if they re-populate correctly.

We have fixed an issue with updating characters where old character data was being shown. This fixes the issue the OP and many others are having. 

edit: You won't see your character data fixed until the website tries to update it again.

Even if this doesn't solve my particular problem, it is always reassuring to see signs that people are working hard to fix things!

Not that I didn't think they were, but if I saw one more "you have to do a manual save" suggestion I was going to - uhm - play Fallout 3 instead?
