At long last, my characters have updated. No idea what changed.

EDIT : oh ok, so it's -at least partially- fixed. Good job.

xbox doesnt seem to support it at all...but this dwarf is my main char on xbox it pulled that up....

I then changed "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater" from manual to automatic.

I did this yesterday... Nothing.

What task manager are you talking about? The Windows task manager? Mine doesn't have a "services" tab, only a "processes" tab, and the only button at the bottom says "Kill Process."

It uploads everything except my equipment. It doesn't show on my character profile.

No problem with my pc characters, but for the xbox it's a different story.

I tried this too, still nothing. It's been a full week since my profile has updated and nothing I've done on my end is making it happen.

It hadn't updated the progress of my main for a few days, but it's somewhat back on track (for now) as of today. Still hasn't updated the picture though...or y'know, even shows that my character is more than a void (see profile pic, as of 11.18.09).

Curiously, my third character has shown up in her entirety whereas it's yet to acknowledge the existence of my second.

Do we have an announcement regarding this problem? It's like they don't care. Pretty annoying, and even disappointing.

I went to every single character I have, changed an inventory item, manually saved, and nothing. My 17 rogue I even played for 2 hours (making a couple different manual saves), and that toon doesn't even show up at all (though her achievements do).

I had a bunch of achievements suddenly upload, but still no character updates and screenshots that I upload in game are not showing up. Looking in Task Manager, I found that the daupdatersvc.service.exe is automatically running whenever I start the game, and I'm logged into the server, according to the game, but still no updates.

Using PC version here... I haven't had anything uploaded since the 2nd day of release hopefully they will get this fixed. I even tried the automatic thing underneath task manager with no success

But no screenshots, and I my characters still won't update.



It would be nice if Bioware could at least acknowledge the problem. Let us know they're working on it or something.

Right now, it kind of feels like they're just ignoring us. "We got your money for the game, you're on your own now."

Eh go to run and type in "services.msc" and that'll bring it up. Although the service in question is for DLC.

My characters are not uploading to the social network site - neither are screenshots. The only thing I get are my achievements.

I've tried using manual save, (reusing old saves renaming and new ones) changed my equipment for sure 2-3days ago I am no longer in blood dragon armour.



The only thing I haven't done in 2-3 days now is level up (still 20 but it only ticked over from 19 to 20 today).



took 2 days for the key to the city to appear on my char.

My doesn't update eiter i have tried evrything, except deleting my character because this option is disabeled.

As usual, only achievements update for me. It seems that since Nov 6th my profile ceased to update character-wise completely. This includes both quick save and manual save, and characters created, leveled and manual-saved after that date also does not appear at all.
