Considering its a single player game, if people feel the need to cheat, the're only hurting their own gameplay experience if you ask me.
Some people have chars with KILLS!!! WTF????

Cheating on scores that only you are going to find relevant or interesting, does seem like a big waste of time. Oh look! I killed teh Dragon Age game itself! Awesome!
