Unfortunately, the necessity of uninstalling Dragon Age has presented itself for me, but I am now going to reinstall the game again. The thing is that I have already played several origins and got several achievements in the game. If I copy/paste my old saved games to the newly installed game, will it enable me not only to play the game from the save points, but also reinstate my achievements/unlocks? Thanks!

If you play offline and havnt uploaded your profile to bioware servers, you need to backup your profile also. So to be safe, make a backup of your characters folder witch contains the saves. +screenshot folder if you want to keep the achievement screenshots, and finally your profile file "profile.dap" in the settings folder whitch contain all your achievements. I've reinstalled 3 times using the above method and kept all my achievements.

Just back up the whole bioware folder under your documents and everything will get saved

Wish I would have read this about 4 days ago...*sigh* I guess it's a good thing I enjoy playing so much and there are things I've learned that I'd like to "tweak" on each of the origins.
