Will we get an Asari Matriarch squadmember in ME3?

We know that not all asari Matriarchs restrict themselves to diplomatic roles(the bartender on Illium is proof of this) so it's quite possible that we could run into a 900 year commando. Imagine how powerful of a squadmate she'd be, you almost wouldn't need a second squadmate cause she and Shepard would totally own everybody!
What do you think? Is it possible or am i just dreaming the immpossible?

Asari can enter stages of their lives at a whim, btw.
Nothing indicates that asari are powerful because of their age, too, and if they are, that power won't translate into the game. At most you get someone who has singularity AND shockwave, or something.

If so, I demand that it be that Asari bartender from Illium.

She's actually around 600 according to the official site. And while she could definitely have reached the Matriarch stage due to her not melding with anyone for so long, the codex claims that Asari can become Matriarchs before 700 if they meld rarely, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she was still a Matron all things considered.marshalleck wrote...

I would want her too. Can you imagine her and Wrex as your party members? Nothing would survive. Hit 'em right in the quad!Chained_Creator wrote...

The official site is terrible it also says Mordin is 50 whcih is 10 years past the average life expectancy for Salarians which is like being 160 for a human.

you've already got a matriarch! aaand you even have the option to trade her out for a younger model too! unfortunately asari are still only available in "Illium Blue" and "Interstellar Purple" (Shiala's after-market paint job notwithstanding)

And? The average human lives for around 80 years and yet there are always individuals who can live for much longer than that. I think the oldest I ever heard of was 120, that's another 40 years of life. I'd imagine that for Salarian's there are certain individuals who could live up to 60 if they took proper care of themselves.Draconis6666 wrote...

Average life span =/= Their end all expiration date.

This have my support, she was cool and my favorite NPC hands down. But my first priority is to get Liara back, if that don't happen Bioware can forget any support from me in the future.

There are plenty of people that live to or over 100 now and thats over life expectancy. It happens. As I recall that is the AVERAGE life expectency, not like a definitive rule that all salarians drop dead at the stroke of midnight on their 40th birthday. There was a time when human life expectancy wasnt higher than 40 yet their were still plenty of people that lived beyond that age.

40 isn't the average Salarian life expectancy. Salarians over 40 are a rarity. So a 50 year old one would incredibly old and definitely not fit for combat. The official website also says that Grunt is 22 years old, which is blatantly inaccurate.
Also Samara's in-game dialogue confirms that she is around 1000 years old. She is a matriarch.

Well I guess the point is this: Samara tells you approximately how old she is...she also mentions being well-past amorous youth and reproductive stages. She's a nearly 1,000 year old matriarch. She says so. I don't really care what some website says...do you really think Samara is wrong about how old she is?
