 Hello all, I am having a hard time beating synthetic Saren.  Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated.  I have Garrus and Tali with me.

You might be too tech heavy. I haven't fought him in a while, but unbalanced parties tend to have trouble with bosses, because of their immunities.



If you have Tali and Garrus with you though...I think I just beat him by using Overload and shooting him a lot.

Here is how I beasted Saren on every difficulty. Have your team mates use High Explosive rounds ammo. Those, especially with a sniper rife, caused so many fun things to happen I can not express the fun of that setup lol

What difficulty, exactly? I beat him with that same party make up. Just have your teammates Overload down his shields and do a Sabotage (I actually forget if Garrus has this, been a while) every now and then. Don't have them do Sabotage twice consecutively, space them out.



Besides that, just keep shooting him. I did it with this team on Veteran, I believe.

Lots of running in circles and shooting. He doesn't get knocked down easily, but when he does take a second to focus fire on him while he gets up; because you have be moving constantly, you won't get many chances to just stand there and have everyone shoot him. On insanity, this fight usually takes me around 5 minutes.
Basically, just keep moving so you don't get hit, and unload everything you have on him. And space out your powers so they don't get wasted.
As for high-x rounds, I haven't tried it. Whenver I equip my team with them they just change weapon when they overheat, so it's never been effective for me. But it's very possible that a hi-x shotty will knock him around.

The class and which abilities you have on your character would help. If you have them use Tungsten rounds. Keep hitting him with sabotage, overload and damping. If you are having serious problems and don't mind being a bit cheap, bring up the power wheel/Tactical HUD and line up your shots.

I've never had any problems with Saren, but I always bring a well-balanced team with damage/tech/biotics. Lift/Throw on Saren helps keep him stationary, while Sabotage/Damping shuts down his attacks. After that, it's just a matter of pumping him full of lead.

I just got him to kill himself as I had Charm maxed out. Kind of a bad way to kill the second last boss! Oh well, still made me chuckle...

I found Saren easy compared to Benezia

Benezia dominated me so many times. anyways my setup for Saren was Wrex and Liara i believe. Maybe not Liara but Wrex was on my team all 3 times, just couldn't let the big lug die.

That fight is always one of my most difficult.what I do is stay in cover behind the wall,Saren cant hit you there unless you lean to far out when he shoots his fireball thingys.He shoots 5 iirc,then rests and moves to the other sidi of the room.Thats When you shoot him.So,cover...fire....cover.
