Oh. So, all I had to do was register? Hmm..Well anyway, reposting this topic since it should be here.

Honestly the game plays wonderfully...for a soldier. But outside of the mixed classes like Vangaurd, and Sentinel I think the other purebreds need some serious rethinking. I say this because quite frankly it would make playthroughs even more worthwhile. Think about it this way, each character would approach a fight differently. Here's a list of ideas:

* Moderately different animations, I.E if my Soldier is running with a Sniper Rifle, an Assault Rifle, and Grenade Launcher strapped to their back they should have a different run animation then someone like an Adept or Engineer who doesn't have those weapons. The same can be said for taking cover, ducking, and sprinting.

*class specific Renengade / Paragon options. I.E A soldier / Infiltrator may have exclusive options to events like the Garrus sniper scene where you shoot off the mechs head. An Engineer would have more options in technological areas, such as a Renegade / Paragon option of overloading / heating someones gun, or hacking someones droid to blowup / shutdown. An Adept would do things Biotic punches, and instead of pushing people out of the way for Biotic Barriers around them.

* Perhaps pure classes like Engineers and Adepts should have even shorter recharge times so that they can actually link together techniques. At the very least Adepts should be capable of this. I can understand an Engineer's abilities being slightly slower.

* More specialization for the different classes. I always saw Adepts as crowd controllers through massive force. Shooting out Shockwaves, and pulling and tossing enemies about in dramatic fashion. Putting up a Barrier as they blow through a powerful enemy with a Biotic kick or punch. A melee boost would be nice for that class.

*Engineer's on the otherhand are more precise. I could see an Engineer dropping a group of weak enemies shields, and then hacking the larger mech in the group and letting them all be massacred before making the mech self-destruct. A class like Infiltrator would be even more precise as he would be even better hidden before dropping shields, hacking, etc.

*Something like a Vangaurd would understandably be even more up-close than an Adept in the same way an Infiltrator would be more precise. A Vangaurd would have massive defense, but have to get up-close and personal.

*Soldiers are pretty much fine. Perhaps a grenade or more effective melee but I always saw that as something more akin to the Vanguard class.

*Sentinels would probably have many low-level techniques with next to no recharge times, and maybe even no weapons. Let their powers really get the job done you know.

Honestly I've beaten this game 5 times now, while thinking about this. >__> Hope someone's willing to read the wall of text.

all those points are subjective to playstyle and personal preferences. tho i do agree that adepts should have a far superior melee then any other class. smaara finishes morinth with a nice melee to the face. why cant i do that? im friggin comander shepard!

This is the only part I agree on, I wish this had been in the game.
