I am nearly 100% renegade but I still can't choose between the part where you either kill morinth or samara. Am I doing something wrong? I have done all the possible quests except a few n7 missions. I am already 29. My passive skill is already maxed (Assassin). Probably because I didn't import any me1 character allowing me to not get the 10% negotiation or persuassive bonus? I am quite sure that I can not achieve 100% renegade without importing.

I also tried the retrain and deathmask thing but still I didn't work. I believe you won't get affected by the deathmask bonus since you'll only be in your casual form when you do the mission.

Btw I am playing on the PC.

I'd post a screenshot of my renegade points but it won't appear in the screenshot folder.

As a sidenote, you don't have to be full Renegade to be able to get Morinth, a Paragon can get her too. That said I believe you only need 60% and more normally for that.



Here's the catch though... there's a bug in the game that sometimes doesn't recognize your Paragon/Renegade meter. I cheated on a few playthroughs and gave me 100% on both scales (mainly to be able to really pick the answers I want to give) and occasionally both Renegade and Paragon options are greyed out. I reload, do the talk again, and voila... there they are.

I really dont understand this Renegade plight b/c I've played it through 5 times w/2 of them being a new start and I still didnt have any problem with the this...

Ever since I got Samara's quest I have been redoing it everytime I finish a major mission since I would get some renegade points but I still get the same results.

I got her with 100% paragon + 1 bar renegade. I think it's the choice presents itself only if you chose the correct conversation path. I guess you have to chose the paragon/renegade responses in her appartement.

I did exactly what this dude did. I also believe I have more facial scars than him so my renegade points might be higher.

Hmm, strange. The disparity between your points should enable you to resist Morinth.

There's no disparity between points, I think. Like I said, I have both Renegade and Paragon scales on 100% on my not so serious playthroughs. If there were a disparity both conversation options would always be greyed out for me. And they aren't, in fact I can pick the one I want to.

I had the same issue on my second play through, but this was because I did this mission much earlier than in my first playthrough so I guess you need a high enough paragon/renegade to resist her charms initially to be able to make the choice between her and her mother otherwise your brainwashed and Samara has to save you anyway.
