I didn't realize it until after I completed the game but my character was wearing the blood Dragon armor when I imported him, even though my armor was stripped the armor's stats got merged into my character, so I was effectively wearing two suits of armor at once, making my character who was a tank nigh invulnerable. Only once in the entire game did I ever get as low as 50% health.

but, hey, just use the juggernaut armor, better than the warden commander armor (but the WC armor does look friggin nice!)

yeah so we get "better" armour.. we paid for the warden armour.. we should be able to keep it.. i mean really.. the textures already exist, the stats already exist, just because we're going to get better equipment within 30 minutes is no reason not to import dlc.. we paid for it ffs.. and lets not forget it's a RPG.. how can you play the role of the warden commander when you're naked, and without a set of Warden Commander Armour to wear.. honestly Mr Priestly, your excuse was puerile

I had starfang and when it disappeared I was really upset as that had been my weapon all the way through my last play through of dao. I was left with one dagger and a bow and some arrows and had to pray that I could loot another sword/dagger so that I can use my duel blades talents. I had stupidly assumed that all my stuff would just carry across.



I feel like such a novice

You may transfer whatever saved Warden from Origins using the Advanced Option. Thus, using the Epilogue saved game, you may go back to camp and DLC locations, trade, purchase, and sell goods to prepare for your upcoming trip; then make a newer Save. While Starfang may have been blown back to the heavens, you will at least be able to make a nice nestegg in which to start the new mission.

there are some user made mods to transfer all those dlc items to awekening. use them.

Yep, I used one of those mods and it really did feel like I was continuing my warden.  Hell, I never really did replace Starfang until later.
