I suggested an alternate channel for us to view the news outside of the game, such as through the website, since I am not always able to play ME2 and thus miss some of the news. But this link is helpful enough for now!

Due to an outbreak of the H7N7 flu virus that infected the avian raloi during the opening ceremonies on their planet, the raloi on the Citadel will wear environmental suits whenever they are in contact with an alien species.
H7N7 can infect humans, birds, pigs, seals, and horses in the wild; and has infected mice in laboratory studies.

Seals in enviro suits? This smells of all kinds of awesome.

Am I the only one who thinks the Raloi may be the Shifty-looking-cow race?

These are aliens man. Alien seals with wings. Birdseals! They can fly, and swim and can melt your brain by being cute and awesome at the same time.Lightice_av wrote...
Where did you get seals? The news outright states that the Raloi are avian, i.e. bird-like.

Personally a peacock as a squad member for ME3 would be hilarity.

Haha yes, they could have become the next dominant species after the Reaper wiped the floor with us, but now the will get fu**ed too.Lightice_av wrote...
Those guys picked the worst time to join the party. If they had just kept quiet and sat nicely on their planet, the Reapers might have never even paid attention to them.
Perhaps it'll be relevant to an expansion pack, or something?

I hope the Raloi, this 'bird'-like race, has many flavors to their design so we get Raloi who resemble Vultures, Eagles, Ostriches, Falcons, Parrots, peacocks, and so forth.

I hope not.

I got some bad news for you people, they wear biosuits when outside their planet, this smells like bioware lazyness, if bioware puts another suit species put doesn't put turian females, then im not geting ME3
Wow, that will actually ruin the game for you.

But on a more serious note, I do hope we see these pop up at some point (preferably either without the suits, or in very unique and interesting suits that makes it obvious what they look like).

I still want Crab people.
Then you'll have to travel to Earth and dig under the crust a good ways. Good think the Hammerhead mines so maybe we can run into them.. that would rule.

Are aliens in the galaxy against the eating of fish? Or is that still something everyone does? Because if I were a Hanar I would be against eating fish.

Instead of new aliens I want to see females of in-game ones.
