What would I say? Hmmm probably something like "I fooled you ****, Flemeth GAVE me her key and grimoire. She's still out there somewhere." ( have only killed Flemeth in one playthrough on my Templar PC)

I did the same thing (got an unexpected approval boost from Zevran, too).  I thought it was surprising that she never even asked if Flemeth was dead, just took the grimoire.

Well how else would you have gotten the Grimoire?  Morrigan seems to view Flemeth as hoarding her secrets why would it ever occur to her that she'd just give them up.

"Hello old friend. I know you said not to follow but me and Zev, well the Ferelden court was no place for us. Seeing as how you are a single mother on her own raising a child with the spirit of an old God, well, I was hoping you might need a hand. After all we are like Sisters and contrary to what Flemeth taught you, families care about each other and we stick together. If you need my magic it is yours. If you need Zev's blades he is here as well. Us outcasts need to stick together. I won't sit in judgment over you, but I missed you. By the way, I brought you a brush to go with that Mirror. If you want our company, our skills, our affections, we are here, for you and the child. If not, we will leave in the morning. Believe it or not there is strength in family that cannot be found in surviving alone. The choice, is yours."

Also in a conversation with her she tells you she doesn't believe Flemeth will stay dead just killing her buys her (Morrigan) a little time to do some studying of Flemeth's real grimoire to be able to counter anything Flemeth throws at her (hopefully).  So whether you killed Flemeth or not, Morrigan certainly expects to see her later, she just assumes (cause Flemeth is so greedy with her secrets) that you had to take the grimoire over her mother's dead body.

My male Mage went on with the dark ritual and did romanced her. If he stumbles upon her, he probably stares at her with wide open eyes and ask:

"No stretch marks?"

Assuming she already gave birth of course ;)

I am your father. Might require a bit of modding to get a playable Chasind, but it'd be worth it :) In all seriousness though I honestly couldn't second guess whatever awesome responses the writers could come up with - my PC honestly wouldn't know what to say, it'd depend on the circumstances of the meeting as well I suppose.

"I outta break a broom handle off in your ass for thinking you could hide from me"

or

"Now you see me, now you're dead"

or

"Now its MY way or else...hell its my way"

or

"Oh, it smells rotten here"

or

"Now I'm really pissed off"

I return to my quarters after a long day of killing whatever ill-begotten creature plagues the land.  I am started to find a cloaked figure standing in the shadows.  My hand wanders to the hilt of my blade.  A red-eyed, distraught looking Morrigan steps forth.  She looks disheveled.

Disheveled! you think.  Of all the possible states you could imagine Morrigan in, such was inconceivable ... seeing was definitely believing.
Me:  "Morrigan?"
Morrigan:  "I need your help." In barely a hoarse whisper.
Me:  "What has happened?"  Had she been crying? you wonder.
Morrigan:  "Flemeth came.  She found me.  She took the ... she took my child."
Me:  "Flemeth?  How is such possible?  I slew her myself."
Morrigan:  "I told you she would never truly be dead," in a harsh voice.
Me:  Why are you angry with me?  I wanted you to stay.  Remember?."
Morrigan: *softens*  I ... I am not angry - with you.

At least I hope it goes along those lines.  I so want a major Morrigan-Flemeth-Old God story.

Warden: Why have you come here? I gave you the freedom you wished.

Morrigan: I thought you wanted to live. Why have you come to the Dead Trenches?

Warden: I never said I wanted to live, not without you. That night was not about saving my life It was about the other wardens: that and one last night with you. Again, why have you come here?

Morrigan: I ...

Warden: If you are not here to stay, please let me find my peace.

Hey, that would make for an interesting start.  Although it may be out of character for many people.  It's too bad the designers couldn't come up with different ways to start based on how we interacted with her.  Well, I guess they could - but probably won't.

Well my Warden did not go looking for her, which means Morrigan would have to come to her so the encounter would be something along the lines of "I thought we had a deal bi***! Get out of here! I don't want you and your spawn wrecking the country I just saved!"

After thinking a bit, I turned a perfectly great rpg into a musical in which my character would sing "Path of Glory" by Demons and Wizards while skipping lightly across the first bridge at the Dead Trenches wearing his Legion of the Dead armor.

It sounded so much better in my head.

So you can image Morrigan trying to prevent the Warden from commiting suicide. Interesting.

Hmm...that is rather interesting. Could be a good place to start (having advanced time considerably...). *shrugs*

Why not? The Warden is still one of the most dangerous people in Fereldan if not the world. She still has feelings for him,as far as we know, and Flemeth is still out there somewhere. Why let him die when it would be easy enough to keep him alive by making an apearance?

That's a nice post.  Of course, it only works for a PC that romanced Morrigan...
