I have changed my mind, but in the opposite direction. When I first heard about awakenings I thought it would be terrible, but I'm pretty sure that they know what they're doing. So maybe I'll need to do a bit of gearing up before I set off, I can't imagine it's something I'll be thinking about the whole time I'm playing, if at all. Those are the problems that matter, of which I've seen none so far. (Edit: none that affect me, anyway)
Also, it's hardly a busy time for games I want, and I still have some dragon age enthusiasm left in me, and I can't just keep replaying origins.

I'm just going to wait for the reviews, and for people to start uploading their play throughs on youtube before making a decision.

I was a bit intrigued to get into it - especially since they expand more to an interesting story - but what feels like a "cut off" from old companions and LI's is pretty painful.

Largely, though, some of it appears to be a "step-back" in regards to what ME2 achieved through transfering character decisions and whatnot. But that's where I plug in my favorite motto and say "wait and see".

I'm going to wait for it to drop in price and reading reviews/story stuff. If it doesn't sound like something that I want my Warden to deal with because it will screw up his ending, than i won't get it.

I am voting with my wallet and not pre-ordering. Nor am I convinced that I will purchase it at full price.

I may wait for a price drop. I've read the FAQ information and do not feel inclined to buy it. Too much has been cut out, and for a standalone price the content seems very much missing. I can understand their reasoning, but find their logic haphazard. You can romance in the middle of a war but not in a side conflict? (im okay with the feature being left out-but not their justification).

The DLC issue is another reason. I can mod it in-but I find their lack of support for content that they made me pay additional money for rather unworthy.

If EA wants to make DLC content a major money maker-they have to do better than this.

The final reasoning is this - we are being told that this is something that is supposedly bigger than many normal games ... then are told things that make this seem in doubt.

You should rather be grateful for BioWare that told you the truth, rather than not telling anything to anyone and then once you buy it "SURPRISE!"

Joker. I just have to read the first reviews in the press to know the important facts before I buy it.

The only thing I´m grateful for is, that they taught me not to preorder their products like I initially wanted. Not by revealing the FAQs but by cutting the things I like in these games and leaving me alone with a pubescent dwarf instead.

Perhaps if the reviews are good and the AddOn gets cheaper I will buy it later, but my excitement is gone for good.  I was already disappointed about the almost absolute focus on fights in RTO, my stock of dead Darkspawn lasts for some months.

I definitely just downgraded from a "must buy" to a "probably won't buy."  I am high pissed about the no-DLC-carryover "feature."

I agree with everyone who wants to remind BioWare that it has to earn our money.

I want it simply because it's more Dragon Age. As long as it offers more Dragon Age, I'm going to buy it with a wide smile on my face. I couldn't care less about these extremely minor hindrances :)

This is exactly my attitude.

I had some concerns about the non-returning romances, but David's words gave me hope for some kind of recognition, and that's OK. I still don't like how they are treating the "Dead Warden", but I'll resolve by simply not importing that particular character, so everything's fine ;)

I agree with most of you to vote with my wallet and not purchase this mess. There are too many other great games coming out in March that deserve my money.
