Hello, months ago i bought Mass Effect via Steam, everything was perfect
until i reached the part of the game when you have to use the galaxy
map of your spaceship to travel to another planets and continue with the
game, but i can't activate it, it shows the option activate in grey
where you should see it in white.I have installed the game and started a
new game trying to solve the problem but it didn't work.
What can i do? Thx

i know this is a problem of illegal copies of the game,but i have a legal steam copy

Steam has a service that compares the installed files you have with those that you should have. Use that to find out what is amiss.

I've tried what you said and it says that it is all fine,the problem continues ingame.

Are you standing close enough? There is an activation zone, and it doesn't work if you aren't close enough.

yeah,i tried in different positions,i don't think that is that

You may also run into the "Piracy" fault through using a "No-CD" replacement EXE file instead of the original.
