In ME3, I hope Tali stops obsessing over shepard and decides to obsess over someone of her own race.

All you have to say is "i'm not interested" and Shep lets her down real easy, and she doesn't seem to care. I doubt it would become some creepy thing were Tali keeps trying despite your obvious dedication to someone else.

Kal' Reeger + Tali makes perfect sense. Like the apparent "break up" with Ash/Kaiden, the implication of Tali with Reeger is a device to make it easier on the Players feelings with the relationships. I don't want to feel bad for shooting Tali down, and I know she has eyes on someone else.

Wow Aceattack - since when has genetic enginneering let a man and his monkey make babies together?? And humans share 99% of their DNA with chimps - Quarian's have completely different bases, they are dextro-based, you can not combine genetic material that is not compatible on a very base fundemental level.

3 Questions

1) Did I say it currently allowed cross species breading ? Currently a large potion of the worlds produce supply is geneticly enginered from diffrent breed and diffrent species of plants to make it more resilliant in harsher land scapes.

2) Doesn't Mass Effect take place 160 or so years in the future, and didn't the Prothean ruins advance human tech a few hundred years?

3) Why is this so seriously hard to understand? Its a game in a fictional future universe with fictional tech.

Let me break it down real simple.

Mass Effect 2 = Game
IF  Mass Effect 3 + Hybrid Kids = Better game
Then Hybrid kids will be in ME3

Mass Effect 3 + Hybrid Kids = Worst game
Then Hybrid kids won't be in ME3

Personally I don't see how it will make ME 3 better but I don't agree with people saying it can't happen in a GAME BASED ON FICTION.

Sorry for spelling errors I was holding a real life baby Image IPB

Except she does.
She comes at you even if you got a thing going on with Liara/Ashley.

But w/e. I don't really care. She's dead in one of my playthroughs, and I'm not really bothering with her in my paragon one, so it's no big deal.

on SCIENCE fiction, not what-I-want-to-have-happen fiction...

Remember those old cartoons about flying cars humans would have in the year 2000? Yeah, what people imagine science can do and what it actually can do are two vastly different things.

And, being a mother of multiple children, I can say that kids will never make a game better, even if it just stays in you pack next to the potions.

Thats the wonderful thing about Science fiction is with talented writers the impossible becomes possible. If the writers thought it would enhance the story there is NOTHING stopping them from putting in that Sheppard and Tali settle down and have a family.

Nothing except internal consistency, fundamental principles of biology, and common sense -- all of which they've unfortunately dented to give you your fanservice romance in the first place.

Come on. Haven't you ever been with a person that was NOTHING like you? Granted, this is not so much as two different people falling in love as it is a dog and a fish falling love, but most times different people don't work romanticly but sometimes they work because they are the right kind of different.

Sure, but there's a reason we call that "chemistry" -- it literally *is*.  Favorable hormone/pheremone reactions and all that.  Exactly what *couldn't* happen with Tali or Garrus.

Shepardt also could never expect kids from Tali.So both suffer.

Without intentionally trying to make this thread go bad places, I am pretty sure there are couples in the real world who are childless and don't consider themselves to be suffering.

If you really love someone, you want to have kids with this person.Only radical green party members and/or dink yuppies could be a exception.

Kal'Reegar can have Tali. :D

As long as I get a decent-sized fleet from the Quarians, and my Geth Army, I'll be happy. (^_^)

Wait....your telling me it's sience? Love isn't pixie fairy dust that God sends down to us so that we can find our soulmates?

The ONLY appropriate conclusion to the trilogy is for Shep to go out in a blaze of glory. Taking a character THAT much larger than life and having him hang up his guns to go off and live on a farm somewhere would just be too anti-climactic. So the question of having kids with Tali (or anyone) is probably moot.

As far as Tali and Kal'Reegar loving each other - there is absolutely nothing to suggest that they do. And I'd be very surprised if see Kal'Reegar again. At best an email from him if he's still alive.

While I too wouldn't want to see Shep living on a farm, I hope him croaking in a blaze of glory (dang, that phrase always reminds me of the Bon Jovi song  ) isn't the only outcome (i.e., Shep survives and continues to serve either the Council or the Alliance or Cerberus...heck, maybe there will be an option to betray them and join the Reapers or the Shadow Broker :o ).
Of course, I'd still like to see the 'blaze of glory' outcome. I just hope it's epic and something that will be 'surprising'. ^_^

Shepard doesn't have to die to remain as awesome as he currently is. He could just go on being a Spectre, and eventually succeed Anderson/Udina as the human Councillor.

No, Kal'Reegar respects Tali as a superior officer. He shows no flirtatious innuendos towards her and she shows none towards him. Tali is the Petyr Baelish of ME, she will only ever love Shepard regardless of his feelings towards her.

Ey, just a thought: children aren't needed to be happy with your partner =/

Same goes for Tali & Shep if they romance: it's just 2 people that love each other, and want to stay together.

Kal is my quarian pal, he never showed interest in Tali more than a sort of brief trust and friendship. He's just too professional for that. And well, i do trust my own abilities to keep Tali with me, so i don't care. =P

Kal'Reeger is just a damn good soldier. Not everyone is trying to steal your girlfriend, lol. Are some people this paranoid in real life?

I would like it if Reegar and Tali got together in ME3, but ONLY if Shepard didn't romance her.

This may be an option.  When Aragon dumped Eowyn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, she just ended up with Faramir, a suitable replacement.

I think he just looks at her as a sister ....I mean I never got the impression he liked her in the game till it was brought up her.

That being said if that ****er tries to take tali from my shep he is dead.

Kal'Reegar is one of the best men at the Flotilla wedding of Shepard and Tali.

He gives you the birds and the bees for the honeymoon night :crying:

During a talk with Grunt in ME2 Shep admits he doesn't want to do this forever.....I think even he would want to settledown.
