Kal'Reegar is one of the best men at the Flotilla wedding of Shepard and Tali.

He gives you the birds and the bees for the honeymoon night :crying:

A marriage between Shep and Tali is the only way to conclude the romance in ME 3 if she is your gal.

As I once said in another Tali-topic: I'd be cool if Reegar and Tali would start a relationship in ME3, regardless of if you romanced her in ME2, in that case she'd just dump you for Reegar. I'd love to see the faces of the hardcore Tali-whoring fans.

Pretty good troll move, but I don't see how that would develop.  You say you love Tali then she says, "ah, screw it"?

Anyway, considering Bioware's history it seems that Tali is falling under the "cute/lawful good" romance option, like Aerie in Baldurs Gate.  If that is so, then a sugary sweet jumping through the fields ending is likely if you are a Paragon.

I admit I was intentionally trolling in my post, but I'm death-serious when I said that I think Tali and Kal'Reegar would make a better couple than Tali and Shepard.
Honestly, I love Tali and I'm a big fan of her, but I don't see TaliXShepard working out, really. I think one day Tali has to return to the flotilla or her homeworld. Her people are important to her and she's importand to her people (especially if you managed to not get her exiled in ME2).
That said, Kal'Reegar clearly is attracted to Tali in some way. I think he likes her. They'd make a cute couple and it would make a whole lot more sense than TaliXShepard.

In my opinion, Tali and Kal'Reegar should be handeled like this in ME3:

Tali stays at your squad for ME3.
Kal'Reegar joins too, because a male Quarian squad-member would be awesome.
Tali and Reegar eventually fall in love with each other.
If you romanced Tali, she'll tell you she thinks she feels something for Reegar. She'll say that even though she loves you, it wouldn't work out between Shep and her. She'll move on and get something with Reegar.
After the events in ME3, Tali and Reegar will return to their people and live happily ever after.

Adam Baldwin should be in every video game. Also get Nathan Fillion on the cast list for ME3. Or in some bioware game, you know it would be awesome.

Shepardt also could never expect kids from Tali.So both suffer.

Without intentionally trying to make this thread go bad places, I am pretty sure there are couples in the real world who are childless and don't consider themselves to be suffering.

If you really love someone, you want to have kids with this person.Only radical green party members and/or dink yuppies could be a exception.

You're an idiot. In comes the religious or political nut-jobs who ruin another thread with their views as being the only good option in life.

Thats the wonderful thing about Science fiction is with talented writers the impossible becomes possible. If the writers thought it would enhance the story there is NOTHING stopping them from putting in that Sheppard and Tali settle down and have a family.

Nothing except internal consistency, fundamental principles of biology, and common sense -- all of which they've unfortunately dented to give you your fanservice romance in the first place.

Come on. Haven't you ever been with a person that was NOTHING like you? Granted, this is not so much as two different people falling in love as it is a dog and a fish falling love, but most times different people don't work romanticly but sometimes they work because they are the right kind of different.

Sure, but there's a reason we call that "chemistry" -- it literally *is*.  Favorable hormone/pheremone reactions and all that.  Exactly what *couldn't* happen with Tali or Garrus.

Except that phermones aren't the sole factor in determining whether someone is romantically interested in another, we're not insects.

People can be attracted to another for other reasons, so interspecies relationships aren't as improbable as you insist they are, especially if the species are similar in terms of how they think, philosophy, etc.

Not as depressing as the 'everyone-dies-ending' in ME2. ;)

Nah, I think Shepard is a man and can live with it that Tali breaks up with him, after all, he didn't shred a tear about Ashley after Horizon ("I don't need this ****!" - Shepard when talking to Joker after Horizon mission), and Liara has become a cold killer-**** that cares more about the Shadow Broker than her human boyfriend.
I think Shepard knows how to deal with romance-drama and doesn't really care all that much.

I disagree, I think he respects her only.

EDIT: Also, yes, Nathan Fillion needs to be in ME3. Needs to be.

I think it depends on the kind of Shepard.  Renegade Shepard probably shoots both Reegar and Tali like Tony Montana in Scarface.  Paragon Shepard would be broken and likely fly a ship into the Sun.

Honestly, Tali's not the type to go and cheat on Shepard. She still had feelings for this guy two years after his death. I dont think speices matters that much to her that she would just turn away from Shepard because theres a nice looking Quarian fellow around.

As for Reegar he may very well have feelings for Tali. I dont seeing him acting on them if he sees Tali happy with Shepard. Kal's a practical man, a marine, he knows that sometimes things dont go the way you want and often you cant do much about that fact.

Maybe after Tali and Shepard become "acclimated" to each other and show that interspecies romance with Quarians can work, Shepard hooks Reegar up with one of the other girl crewmates. Liara perhaps? Better yet, Ashley!  Quite a pair, Id say.

Why? My Shepard (default John Shepard with Mark Vanderloo face, but Vanguard class) is Paragon (75% Paragon, 25% Renegade) and he's not an over-emotional suicidal emo-kid!
Para Shepard wouldn't become an emo just because his alien girlfriend broke up.

I don't see it happening. Tali's stated she doesn't feel close enough to any Quarians to link suits. She also consistently brings up Shepard in her journal entries on Haestrom, wishing s/he was here, etc.

As a Femshep I'd love to see a Tali/Kal'reegar romance. But only if I got to pull him over to the side and have the elder sister talk with him about what might happen if he were playing fast and loose with her heart.
