I have yet to find a thread on this so I thought I would start one.  :)

But I rather am enjoying the Hockey games and am looking foward to Curling and seeing Lindsey Vonn.
Also I would love to see a USA/Canada Hockey final.  That would be epic, almost like a 2nd SuperBowl... Not really, but still.

Your thoughts and comments?????

Anyway, I really looking forward for hockey.

And I would hate to see USA- Canada final. There must be Czech republic! GO CZECH REPUBLIC!

It was awesome to see how close South Korea was to sweeping the 1500M Speed Skate.

That one guy who tripped will NEVER hear the end of it.

And Apollo Ono tied for most decorated US Winter Olympic athlete. Wee!

You should see the downtown core of Vancouver, it's a vibrant mix of people all over the place, lots of events and parties. I loves it.

I'm hoping that Sweden can defend their hockey-gold from the last Olympics, though I don't think they will. I'm thinking Canada or Russia...

Sa Seba, do you live in vancover or something, just wondering?

Too bad this thread hasent taken off more. But hey.

And yes a the 1500M Skate thing, that was very intense. I really don't like OHNO, but im glab the US took 2 and 3. But yeah, the south korean skater who took out his partner on the final turn should have a FUN plane ride home, sitting next to his team mate and all. I feel for em.

That was hilarious. Bronze just had to have silver and ended up getting himself and his teammmate out of medal contention. Epic fail.

The German luge team trained in a BMW wind tunnel, and it shows. They are wrecking the competition!

Their custom-made sleds could help, too...

There's plexi-glass walls in all corners now. Better late than never, but... still late. :(

The Germans are beasts, that Felix Lock especially.

Though it is really tragic that the Goergian died. :'( I was watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel right on the thursday before the Openings. And they where talking about that track where he died. I belive it was called the 50/50, cause that was your chances of makeing it. The sad thing was people knew ahead of time that it was a dangerous area and the plexi-glass was only installed after the accident. Then adding insult to injury the Olympic Commitee said the accident was a result of the Georgian's lack of ability to control the sled, not the track.

Stuff and additudes like that disgust me, when commitee members cover there own butts with legal comments like that.

That said i try to look at the positive and look foward to the rest of the games, I'm watching the mogals at the moment.

I wonder what the Bioware staff is up too?

Yab, right in the midst of it.
I have been watching the games online per live stream: http://www.ctvolympi...ings/index.html .
The streaming should work outside Canada as well, but if not, then there are proxies one can use. (most countries should offer live streams though)
No need for TV anymore ;-)

Thanks for the USA network heads up, Captain Cornhole. Team USA power play!!!. I hope it's a US/Canada final. I want to see my Blackhawks stars (Toews/Kane) go against each other.

Do they allow fighting in Olympic hockey like in the NHL?
