Shiala might infect Shepard with Thorian spores

Gianna!

Obviously you kill Shiala, but I'm somewhat surprised you don't kill Gianna.

Love intrest in ME 3? Hah. Not only does Shepard have to worry about the reapers, but also choose between almost a dozen of girls.

Choose? Why would saviour of the galaxy choose?

Human supremacism:

In "1" she catches a Salarian stealing from a Human corp., and in "2" she makes an smug Asari squeal like  a school girl.

Gianna's got bigger balls than your average male P. P. Shepard.

Is it wrong to say that I really don't find either character interesting? Shiala seemed kind of flat, and while Gianna had spunk and wit, I just don't find her too fascinating.

And, really, do you guys want to shag every single character that either kisses or touches Shepard's cheek? Really?

You know what? Fist and Helena Blake for squadmates and LIs. They ARE returning (and killable) NPCs and all.

Jeebus.

Would Parasini work as a squad mate? Her skills seem to be socially based, con artist-y, instead of combat oriented...

Definitely Shiala, preferably that pretty shade of purple from ME1, but green works too

Don't take it too seriously,  some people want to shag characters that even don't touch Shepard. It's part of roleplay after all.

Shiala's attractiveness is linearly dependent to the amount of commander leathers she is wearing (or, possibly, in the process of taking off).

All the women in mass effect border on fugly with those one-piece science jumpsuits. Really dampens the interest in 2.

That said, I sort of wish Elizabeth (the human girl in the Exo Geni lab) had been the one to come back. She would have fit the Shiala role just as well, and she actually had potential hero-ardor vibes back in ME1. Shiala giving off that sort of vibe after a few hundred years is... not as attractive?

I really didn't get the impression from either character they were interested in Shepard in.... *that* way. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. So uh, I guess that's a "neither". Especially since I have a tendency to mess up Parasini's investigations...

In ME2 you run into both characters, and both will flirt with Shepard depending on your dialogue choices, and depending on whether or not you completed their missions.

Shiala says to Shepard, "Maybe sometime when I'm not organizing the colony, and you're not doing whatever you do....", before stroking his arm, smiling at him, and walking off. It's fairly clear she's interested in Shepard in 'that way.' Gianna kisses Shepard on the cheek and says it was much better than getting an autograph. Gianna isn't quite as overt as Shiala, but she's flirting nonetheless.

In Gianna's case Shepard has to be male in order for her to express interest.

And as to the question I'd take Shiala.

Parasini does give femShep an extended glance, though doesn't kiss her.  If she's available for my femShep (forgetting Liara, of course), I'd choose her over Shiala.  But, I wouldn't mind both options.  Some of my Shep's are quite fond of Shiala... but I find her a bit offputting sometimes.  I think her demeanor does not match most of my Shepard's tastes.

That being said, I doubt either will be romanceable in ME3... they'll most likely be reaper chow that gives us more emotional involvment in the plight of the galaxy (watching your friends die tends to get people emotionally invested).

Shiala definitely. Love the looks the personality and the voice. Her response if you take the renegade option after getting the cypher from her in ME1 was just beautiful.
Plus if the hints from Lair are right and the Protheans still have a part to play in ME3 then Shiala will be very important due to her being the only other cypher bearer.
Hope we will be able to cure her though as I do prefer her blue.

Shiala FOR SURE! She willingly helps Shepard, cares about others, and always carries herself elegantly. I dislike Gianna's character quite a bit: she fools people and she enjoys it, and her attitude and temper are both rotten. As such, I usually either warn the asari shopkeeper on Illium, or I get Gianna killed off on Noveria in ME1.

Hero-worship/admiration is better left to the young, not the centuries-old adults who should have long since grown out of that sort of phase.
