The reason my Sheperd hasen't romanced anyone since ME1 is out of hope he can hook up with Gianna Parasini or Shiala in ME3, I'd actually take Rana Thanoptis over both of em if i had the choice.

I just would like to know what makes someone like Rana Thanoptis. I'm not saying she is like terrible or something. I'm just curious. I think she is too underdeveloped to really get a feel for who she is. You just happen to run into her randomly two times and that's it.

I would definitely go with Shiala. Skin color, facial markings, and look is just too hawt to pass up. I also don't mind that she is green, but hopefully. through treatment, she will go back to being that sexy purple. Otherwise, I'll live.

Pure pyhsical attraction and i find her voice her cute, thats just my opinion. Yes there is nothing really going on with her story wise, (Asari scientist who has a bad case of wrong place at the wrong time). My interest in her are just shallow reasons atm, I don't find asari without any facial tattoo's or makeup very appealing (it gives their face character) which is why she and Shiala stand out to me, Rana looks like a young Matriarch Benezia imo.

I noticed a peculiar difference myself in the way the Shiala character is rendered in ME1 where she appears svelte, as opposed to ME2 where she seems to have acquired a rougher look. I don’t know if this stems from the illness that the character is inflicted with or some technical issue with the game itself.

Yep, I agree, there  definitely seems to be a slight difference between Shiala in ME1 and ME2 aside from the skin colour (and I would definitely date Shiala ):

Aria T'Loak!!! HOTTTTNESS!!! And Carrie Ann Moss voiced her so well.....ahhh, but I go off topic.

Having to choose...I'd pick Gianna. I just preferred her whole "attitude" over that of Shiala's. I'd like to see Gianna return as a team member to Shep in ME3...she becomes bored with "filing a bunch of papers"...and now wishes to make a more substantial contribution to helping societies. What better way to do that then to take on the Reapers. Plus she exchanges all her skirts and heels for battle armor. Though having her in a sprayed on catsuit and high heeled boots like Miranda would be nice to see in ME3.  <3

Both good LI's for ME3, but i would stick with Miranda, jack, or Tali depending who I romanced.
