Human squadmates might suffer from this (although it's unlikely, because ME never really tries for photorealism), but alien squadmates won't.  I'm not saying you don't find Tali creepy: if you do, you do.  But that's not why.

I just liked Tali because she was the only LI that didn't **** my face off for the majority of the game (much like Liara from ME 1)

I think you might need to get out a bit more personally. Both the slow buildup and the playful leap are something I've seen quite a bit in my experience.

Well she almost looked and acted like a human to me, but the lack of facial details caused the whole thing to fall apart. I thought that was the uncanny valley effect, though I probably just misinterpreted it. I'm not exactly the smartest person when it comes to stuff like this.

Not in everyones playthrough though.
If you play a renegade in ME1, not only do you begrudgingly take her with you but you treat her poorly throughout the  game and don't give her the data she needs to complete her pilgrimage.
While I've yet to import my renegade Shepard into ME2, I can't help but think that if she still has a 'crush' on my Shepard after all that there's something seriouly wrong with that girl's head.

Nah, I'm a guy in real life.  I loved how Miranda and Jack straddle you in their love scenes.  Both were extremely hot.  It's just Tali's seemed more...alien.

Jack would have been hotter with the bucket on.

Not all of us think buckets are hot.
I prefer seeing a face instead of glowing eyes.

I'm kinda in the same boat.  Tali is like my little sister.  Sex with her just seem...wrong. 

And even if I can get beyond that,you still have to get by the three finger thing and having never, ever seen her face.  For that matter, you may have never seen a Quarian's face.  We have no idea about her skin color, private, parts, etc.  For all we know, she looks more like a Turian than a human.

The immo boost thing is cool and quite sweet.  But seriously, for a human, you'd really have to be in love to have a long term committed relationship with somebody you can rarely touch or kiss.

I do wish the I'm not interested lines were a little better with Tali.  I hated to break her heart.

It's the skin tight outfit and the fantasizing of what she looks like under the mask.  For those who claim that they don't care about looks are just being silly.  I'm not saying you should pick out your LI solely on their looks, but there has to be some physical attraction in a relationship.  Not to mention, the enormous complexity of a long term relationship with her due to her suppressed immune system would put a lot of strain on a relationship.

She doesn't have chicken legs, she just has webbed feet.

Makes her more like a duck than anything.

Like you said, her stammering and nervousness is sickeningly adorable, but I don't swing that way. I like my girls from back home, and with 5 fingers and strait knees thank you.
