Tali is kind of...well...creepy

I bet you 75% of Tali fans are Furries. They do love the "exotic".
Quick, find that survey making person, and say I have got a new job for em.

1) Kudos to whoever came up with the overwhelm analogy it would awesome if she had that as one of her skills in ME3.
2) Some of you Shepards may think of Tali as a little sister but she goes to bed with the nerve stimulators on, thinking of doing not so sisterly things to her captain.

Of course I will be ignored as people continue their fruitless argument. So whatever. Continue to declare Tali fans as furries (AKA please check your definition of furry) and Tali fans can continue to declare Tali-is-creepy/I-hate-Tali-for-what-ever-reason are racists against a species that doesn't even technically exist.

Okay, Tali is my favourite romance, let's get that out there, and I honestly don't get the people who don't like her just because she's got a 'bucket-head'. But seriously. Both groups. Shut up, please. Tali fans? Most of you are making us look like creepy nerds who finds their soul mate in a game. Tali-is-creepy-and-people-who-like-her-are-creepy-because-she-is people? Nobody's forcing you to pursue Tali's romance. No one's forcing you to read posts from some admittedly creepy Tali related posts, no one's forcing you to go into the Tali Love thread. If you don't like the character or think she's creepy, okay. You and I have differing opinions, so let's leave that at that.

You, sir, win the interwebs. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Here's another "theory". I am 75% sure you'd get scale-itch if it was possible. <_<

I totally don't see that, you've been playing too much Dragon Age, she isn't a Corruption Spider using Overwhelm on you.how she leaps on you like a spider.
You need to defeat this inner demon of yours.. I know the Deep Roads was traumatizing for you but you need to get over this.
You're sitting on the bed with her. She's nervous so she's rambling. You gently take off her mask and kiss her softly.
She LEAPS on you and pins you down, on all fours like a spider.
Cut to black.
Out of curiosity, are you female? Because I assure you, men don't mind when a girl we like throws us on the bed and leaps on top of us.
Nah, I'm a guy in real life. I loved how Miranda and Jack straddle you in their love scenes. Both were extremely hot. It's just Tali's seemed more...alien.
Jack....hot....?!
Hotter than a chicken footed, three fingered buckethead.
Jack would have been hotter with the bucket on.
Not all of us think buckets are hot.
I prefer seeing a face instead of glowing eyes.
I disliked Jack because I found her personality to be too coarse and I dislike tattoos and piercing. Love scene was good though.

And thank you Cascadus, extreame fanaticism about ANY character give all fans of said character a bad name. I'm sure there are plenty of normal Tali fans its just the over vocal minority that makes them all seem crazy.

what if tali's immune system improves due to her being with Shepard so often? It is a medical breakthrough...for the Quarian people!!!
Actually that is what should happen. She gets exposed to Shepards bunch of bacterias and, as she seems to make it through mostly unharmed, should be mostly immunized, because her body should have developed appropiate anti-bodies. Unless it is an allergic reaction, of course, in which case both of them are screwed.

So having sexual relations with Tali is the PARAGON thing to do. You are preparing the Quarian people for a glorious return to the homeworld, one Tali-pouncing night at a time.

I know I'm gonna get crucified and flamed by the legion of Tali fans on here, but I just have to say, after romancing her in my last playthrough, I found her to be kind of creepy.
Don't get me wrong, her personality is great and it's easy to fall for her. How she gets nervous around you and starts to ramble is adorable. You do just kind of want to hug her. But after talking to her extensively and finding out how much work is involved for her to even be able to be initmate with you, it just seemed like too much work. Not to mention she could still die from it.
In addition to that, there's something about her that's just creepy. The three fingers, the chicken legs, and in the brief love scene, how she leaps on you like a spider. Her body language in general is kind of...odd. So, while I can see the appeal of Tali, I really don't understand the fanaticism in which so many people on here carry for her.
I don't think Tali is creepy. I just think her romance was geared toward... I don't know, younger people? It seems less mature than the other ones to me. Still adorable, but I don't know I would feel kind of weird romancing her, like I'm... trolling for high school girls. NOT THAT I'M IMPLYING ANYONE WHO ROMANCED HER IS DOING THAT. That's not it. It's my personal feelings.

Wouldnt that require Shepard to get "close" to all the Quarians? I can see it now Mass Effect 3, all you do is romance Quarians, every minute of every hour. Oh and theres over 60 hours of content.
Or any human. As part of a Quarian-Human alliance, colonists from Earth are brought to the Flotilla. What happens on the Kwib Kwib stays on the Kwib Kwib...

Evolution doesn't work that way! There is absolutely no possible way the Quarians would, through the simple accumulation of mutation over 6 or so generations, become so crippled from an immunological standpoint that they would become the equivalent of AIDs victims.
At best, you could argue that Quarians would become succeptible to auto-immune disorders, but with how advance medical care is in the future, this would be a moot point. Hell, basic gene therapy could remove junk DNA from baby Quarians to ensure that deliterious mutations don't accumulate in their immune system out of an absence of selective pressure.

But what if the average human had things fatal to Quarians? I think that there's just as much of a possiblity that Shepards intimate relationship with Tali would prove fatal.screwoffreg wrote...

I think she pushes the "geek girl" button much more than a particular lust for space virgins.

Odd I got that feeling more from Liara than I ever got from Tali. Liara always made me feel like a pedophile for some reason. Tali's romance felt very similar to...well my wife actually. We met when she was 24, exactly Tali's age.
Again, just my personal feelings. Your milage may vary.

Humongous pear hips = fertility to the subconscious. That's usually why guys are more fascinated with a girl with a nipped waist and hourglass figure (I'm talking actually being attracted, not drooling and imagining them in a centerfold) than a suicide blonde with huge boobs.
