Um. It's kind of a male thing psychologically.

Humongous pear hips = fertility to the subconscious. That's usually why guys are more fascinated with a girl with a nipped waist and hourglass figure (I'm talking actually being attracted, not drooling and imagining them in a centerfold) than a suicide blonde with huge boobs.

I don't think Tali is creepy.  I just think her romance was geared toward... I don't know, younger people?  It seems less mature than the other ones to me.  Still adorable, but I don't know I would feel kind of weird romancing her, like I'm... trolling for high school girls.  NOT THAT I'M IMPLYING ANYONE WHO ROMANCED HER IS DOING THAT.  That's not it.  It's my personal feelings.

I think she pushes the "geek girl" button much more than a particular lust for space virgins. ;)

I like sweetness. Of all the LIs, she was the only one where it felt sweet all the way through. That has much to do with personality as anything: Just my opinionl. I am not a fan of coarseness or coldness. My fiance is sweet. In that respect, Tali reminded me of her. Luckily, my fiance has five fingers.

Actually this is a true scientific statement.  "Dem hips" may be a joke, but evolution draws us even into virtual characters.

I don't get what you mean. Elaborate? Tali's romance, looking at it subjectively, is probably the most mature of the romances. Unlike other romances, Tali's is very far removed from any form of sexualization (or it should, but... uh... don't check the Tali love thread. It gets creepy.), and built far more on your attraction to her personality than her body.
And Tali is like 24. And of course she's high-school girl about romance, it's her first meaningful relationship. Literally ever. Even her father wasn't really around.

Tali is the ultimate paragon LI.

she also has dem hips.

Correction, that would be Samara.

Are you talking about the Hips or being paragon?

Killing your daughter for any reason doesnt sound very paragon to me. Samara, like most of ME2's cast, falls into the grey zone in my opinion.

I'm a guy but have played through the game trying out the female role as well for fun, and also tried various female romance options, and I think the whole garrus one is creepier for some reason.

Well, Samara is very "Lawful Neutral" so to say. The Code is The Law and must be followed at all times. So, yeah, definitely grayish, although on the light side of it.

Sorry if this ends up being a double pst but I once again have to agree with Cascadus, the relationship with Miranda goes from "My dad made me perfect and I hate him for it" to "I think we're crazy but Im interested" way too quick. I havent romanced Jack so I dont know what her's is like. I still like Miranda the most though.

Contrary to what most people think we do value the opinion of others, and I'm glad you were able to voice it, even though you have a fear that we would tear your spine open. Which we won't. So share your opinion! That's why you have one!

Agreed. Miranda was geared toward "younger people", in that case, because she goes from the "I am a perfect woman, I care for my sister, I love TIM" to "come on shepard, 4 deck NOW!".

Miranda and Jack seemed to be the over sexualized choices. I also disliked Jacob.

2) Some of you Shepards may think of Tali as a little sister but she goes to bed with the nerve stimulators on, thinking of doing not so sisterly things to her captain.

Read the whole thread and this made me lol

Tali sure goes far... Regardless I think Tali's romance was the sweetest of those that I have seen and it fits well with her character. She indeed goes far though... but I can't say I am bothered by that detail.

Very constructive I must say! Most people I know personally aren't a big fan of Tali, actually.

That comment about people only liking Tali because they want to identify with a group can just as easily be turned back on the people who are critical of Tali. Or to anyone who posts in any fan thread for a specific character.

In addition to that, there's something about her that's just creepy.  The three fingers, the chicken legs, and in the brief love scene, how she leaps on you like a spider.  Her body language in general is kind of...odd.  So, while I can see the appeal of Tali, I really don't understand the fanaticism in which so many people on here carry for her.

You might find that creepy, I find that strangly arousing.

One mans x is another mans y and all that.

You're sitting on the bed with her.  She's nervous so she's rambling.  You gently take off her mask and kiss her softly.

She LEAPS on you and pins you down, on all fours like a spider.

Cut to black.

So... am i now reading too much into spider mating habits, or are you coyly suggesting Tali possibly bit off Shepard's head at the end of intercourse...

Miranda's romance was quite sexualized -- not that I think that's a bad thing necessarily, all the options offer something different.  Jack's wasn't really sexualized though.  Have you done her Paragon romance?  It was really quite emotional and touching.

Judge people on their personality, not their appearance. This would help a lot in life. Chances are, someone with Tali's personality is the only person who would be with me. :(

All in all, it would be great if there were quarians, and i would defo want to be with one like tali. plus, three fingers are cool.
