I heard that some people heard news reports that he died in some ridiculous accident, but there is a conspiracy that it is a cover-up or something, like Verner faked his death or something. Assuming he's not dead...
...Would you think it would be "totally awesome" if Verner ended up becoming a hardened badass over the course of the time between ME2 and ME3?
I mean, he could still be a moron, but maybe something really bad happens to him to make him all... "Zaeed-y"
I just think it would be kinda funny, because my Paragon Shep always strung him along with the whole "becoming a hero" thing, it would just be funny if he ended up achieving his goal
Actually what would be even funnier is if you were a bastard to him, he comes back to kill you with a mercenary band of angry shepard fans.
