Ok, so I did everything right in the end..except not using Mordin as the escort and he wound up dying.  I was gonna reload (the level autosave) and try to keep everyone.  But did I mess up getting the achievement?  Would a whole new game have to be started?  Also, in ME3 I'm wondering if both options would then show up (Mordin survived/or died) or if this would overwrite the first save?

Use Garrus as the 2nd squad leader. Have Legion go through the vents. They say you should use Garrus again for the distraction squad. I use Jack for the Biotic Barrier part. Have Mordin escort the survivors. Get loyalty for everyone. Try to get all the upgrades. Upgrades should increase their survival chances.



I was able to save everyone except Zaeed. Cause I used him for the distraction squad.

No, no..I'm saying I now know how to save everybody (the Mordin dying thing is somewhat random I guess). My question is I already beat the game--If I simply reload from the 'mission autosave' can I still get the achievement? Or will the game recognize that and basically I have to start a new game?

You can reload it from the auto save or restart the mission. I did.

I did the same, because Tali died in my game. I reloaded and got the achievement. So, don't worry
