Shiala as Squad Mate in ME3

Then (assuming you let her live, but then why wouldn't you?) you encounter her again in ME2. Another point to her uniqueness: she's green now! And once again, she seems like an interesting character...possessing in a few simple lines more depth than certain squad mates who shall remain nameless. *coughJacobcough*
So in ME3, let's see her as a recruitable member of the squad, and dare I say it, even LI. Have something bad jump out of the galactic hat of evil, ravage Feros, and Shiala joins Shepard to save the galaxy again again.
Bioware: make it happen.

From the moment I saw her in ME1, I knew that this Asari was not just another forgettable NPC. Even from the brief encounter you have with her on Feros, she seems like a genuinely interesting character, and following her experience with the Thorian, has a relatively unique story as well.

I agree with OP. She's got hte Cipher, she's all redemption based, is into Shepard, speaks all maturely, and, is a green Asari. I think that just combined ME and Star Trek's sexual women in one.
(I'm more interested in the Cipher bit, since it had almost nothing to do with ME2, and it really should have.)

Really? It was the exact opposite for me. I was geniunely surprised when she turned up in Mass Effect 2 (and was green again, which seemed odd), and even more surprised to learn that people like her. Why do people care so much about this minor character?

Shiala would be an awesome squadmate. The only green Asari? Hell yeah!
NOOOO! She needs to be cured and returned to normal first.
Actually the green Shiala in ME1 wasn't bad, but she looked rather sickly in ME2, on purpose I suppose. Even so, still prefer the blue/purple Shiala.

I feel sorry for her. It's not easy being green.
