Final battle... Tali IS loyal yet she dies anyway.  WHY.  I have played throu 5 times with tali always loyal yet she always get shot at the door.  Anyone want to comment?

PS
Forum mods... I would have posted this in the spoiler section but it said i didnt have something to post in that forum... Dont get annoyed with me... get annoyed with your lame forum.

Or the people who don't want to see spoilers could get annoyed with the lame OP who hasn't properly registered the game so that he can access the spoiler forums where he could have posted this, you know, instead of whining on the non-spoilers forum because he couldn't figure that out.

It's easy to proof that you didn't pirate the game. Register it.

Registering is not proof of purchase. The only requirement for registering is to have the barcode number of the box, and that is not unique per box and easily found elsewhere.

Wouldn't it be funny if they did some of that anti-piracy coding they do in some games?
I know they had it in ME1, I read that your weapons would constantly overheat non-stop or something.

It was actually hard-coded into it.

Like if you pirate, you and all your team dies no matter what on the last mission.
That would have been awesome.

The permanent overheat is something even legitimate users had to deal with, it was related to the Dog of War achievement.
Cyrsis' chicken bullets were done on purpose, though.

Actually, it's not possible to have Zaeed without activating your Cerberus Network card, not without registering your game.

actually if you contact them directly and tell them your issue they will give you a way to activate everything you need without registeration.
I felt this last to be added as I love watching you ignorant trolls attack.

Mastercard varification/payment and they will contact you with everything you need to remain how you wish.
as far as the posting... I dont remember them mentioning anything about that...  Nor do I care really...

Have fun with your trolling.

Im so glad that AFTER the fact the main question was answered that you all continued to assult me with ignorant comments and replies...  Everyone is allowed to their opinion... but trolling for it is beond the boarders.

So you gave a guy your credit information over the telephone because you're afraid of corporate Canada stealing your identity/soul.

...

You can't make this **** up.

corporate canada? I commented on how the US is corrupt not canada... I just said canada is on its way to becoming part of the US... they just need to find a way to make marijuana illegal in that country and canada becomes USA

Keep in mind I tend to leave some things out just to watch the trolls flow as I knew they would with the topic be as it is.

Cyrsis' chicken bullets were done on purpose, though.

Never heard that before, but I know for a fact I read that article, I will see if I can find it.

I have every achievement on ME1, except the renegade one, including this, and have never had this happen. I'm positive I read the article. Again, I will try to find it.

If it happened to legit users, can't say it didn't, but might have just been a reaction to perhaps modding or something? not sure.

I'll try to get the article.

I have a friend who got the CE for the first one on the 'bawks and it happened to him. Might, indeed, just be a buggy anti-pirate system, though.

Also, I'm curious OP, how does a section of a forum have the ability to become mentally impaired? Has the rest of the forum gained sentience, except for the spoilers forum, who is currently suffering from turners syndrome, and is progressing at a much slower speed?

I must alert the internets of this

First thing I get when searching for the article, is links to guess where, where the crack authors releasing additional cracks to get around the over-heating issue.

Yeah it was def. a pirate thing, I'll keep looking.

Here we go:

Speaking of newer technology, "Mass Effect probably had the best DRM implementation that I've ever seen," says Svensson.
"They had tripwires all through that thing that basically would do an authorization check at certain activities... if any failed, it would trigger weapons overheating, or you'd level at a slower rate... it was really well thought-out, and really well-engineered."
However, there was an unintended side effect of that sort of efficacy. "I think a lot of pirates got frustrated by that - but I also think there's a messaging component there," Svensson explains.
"You have those pirates saying, 'what kind of buggy POS is this?' and then legit copies didn't have that experience at all, but potential buyers say, 'I don't want to buy that buggy game,' because they didn't really message, or give people any awareness."

This comes from an extremely reliable sources, Gamasutra and Game Set Watch (had to seperate name, filter didn't like it....)

OP should hand-write a note stating the date and that it's directed at the forums, put it there with the game along with a finger to pwn the non-believers, and that should kill 2 birds with one photo.

Paco, you're doing a really good job of annoying people. Just leave it alone.

In answer to your question: Garrus or Miranda work great.  I think Jacob might do well too.

Now go.  Stop flamebaiting people and acting innocent.

To everyone else:  This person is just begging for attention.

It isn't really that innovative, devs have been using it since the 90's.    Personally, I think its a bad policy.    I think the best DRM is either serial, or serial with unlimited online authentication.      Though I think a lot of people are hardcore opposed to any online authentication on install, which I find pretty wierd.    Do they honestly not have internet?

So should I be wearing my tin foil hat when I play ME2? I mean I did register my game. I'd hate to think EA could use my Xbox and PC for evil. Well maybe not the Xbox, that things a hate filled heat machine already.

To answer your question earlier, don't use Zaeed as team leader. He only has experience with keeping himself alive. Use Garrus, Miranda, or Jacob. If that doesn't work, you are doing it wrong.

It might really be interesting though, if they did do something like the overheat issue again, as in, people die etc on the last mission etc regardless.

I do agree it's bad policy though in a sense, as Titan Quest did the same thing, but it outright crashed the game, and that generated serious bad press. Perhaps was one factor in leading to Iron Lore's closure.
