And adept/biotic classes would be beyond godly.

Yeah, it would almost be like... Mass Effect 1!?!?!?

Yeah Bioware needs to fix shockwave. It is great on targets with just health but if they have any defenses at all it becomes useless. I think this is wrong since the Scions use nothing but shockwave and if they can hit you it does massive damage to your shields. So at the very least they need to eaither fix it so that players can damage shields or remove the scions ability to damage ours with it.

Jack's always made me laugh. They introduce her with a cutscene where she destroys 3 Ymir mech's in less than a minute. I doubt she could do that in actual gameplay, even on casual.

Yeah, I got nothing on how to make any sense of that. Then there's an instance where Shepard and his squad are about two meters away from a pair of krogan and just beat them down (but krogan suffer really bad from Cutscene Incompetence in at least one other instance I can think of).
And as for Shockwave: strictly inferior to Pull (which Jack has) unless there are multiple unshielded targets. Really reduces her value on Insanity, but it's fun to go bowling with her on Veteran.

If they gave Jack Warp instead of Shockwave she would be just about the best teamate barring Miranda.
She has as good a power cooldown reduction as Samara, but she also has her own personal L5x extra 20% biotic damage researchable upgrade, on top of the squad biotic cooldown researches and squad biotic damage upgrades. With that setup, she would be able to do warp explosion combos on her own (pull + warp with her fast cooldowns and extra damage), or even just plain ole warp spam with her awesome cooldowns and extra damage, while still maintaining squad warp ammo.
Her having Warp would make more sense as well considering one assumes she would need Warp in order to imbue ammo with that property.
Whoever was assigning powers to allies during development just dropped the ball on that one, I guess.

Biotics would be beyond ridiculous if they ignored defenses. Hell, even Jacob would be decent!

Haha ya. I find Jack extremely useful, even on insanity because she can give the whole squad warp ammo, and she can use pull often which is extremely useful.

She'd still be annoying so she'd be useless.

Jack provides my insanity adept with squad warp ammo and the shockwave which I simply can't afford for myself. She's the hero of my collector killing lineup.

Why, exactly, does biotic powers like pull or throw not work on armored targets? Shields... sure I can buy that, obviously barriers could stop other biotic powers. But why would anti-ballistic body armor suddenly render the telekinetic aspects of biotics useless?

Samara is, and still would be, way better imho.

Because combat hardsuits have small mass effect generators to raise mass, to counter-act explosive forces and biotics.
I just made that up. The point is you can make up many reasons to explain it if you really want to.

Agree, especially once she gains Reave
