So was it ever explained what bonus damage warp ammo gets against enemies affected by Biotics?

How does that bonus damage stack with the bonus weapon damage against "rag dolled" enemies?

Warp Ammo does double damage to targets affected by biotics. What this means is that the extra damage from Warp Ammo is doubled, not the entire damage from the weapon + Warp Ammo.

So if a normal shot from a weapon does 100 damage, then a rank 1 Warp Ammo will do 15 bonus damage for a total of 115 damage. Against targets affected by biotics, the bonus damage is doubled to 30, for a total of 130 damage.

Warp Ammo, like all other ammo powers, uses the weapon's base damage to calculate the bonus. They never take any weapon bonuses into account, so in this case it doesn't get more damage from a target who is in ragdoll.

Another way to look at it is that Warp Ammo, against targets affected by biotics, increases weapon damage by 30/50/70/100% for ranks 1/2/3 and the heavy evolved. In this case, it is the highest damage increase for weapon powers, but it requires an extra step for you to use a biotic on the target.

Very appreciated, Eric.  Thanks.

If a normal shot from a weapon does 100 damage, then what will be the final total for a target affected by biotics with warp ammo ?

100 (base) + 100 (base damage*2 / standard ragdoll bonus) + 100 (50*2 heavy warp ammo bonus affected by biotic) = 300 ?
Or only 200 (without the standard ragdoll frozen bonus). If it's 200 then warp ammo gives 0 bonus... It could be 250 if it's 100 base + 100 ragdoll + 50 (standard heavy warp bonus). In fact does that bonus damage stack with the bonus weapon damage against "rag dolled" enemies. I have understand that the warp ammo bonus uses only the base damage.

So for a level 1 warp ammo vs affected by biotic it should be 100 + 100 + 15*2 : 230 and 300 for heavy warp...

Thanks  a lot Eric.
If I understand you there seems to be a distinction between:
-Affected by Biotics
-Ragdolled.
The latter, I presume, would be a subset of the former.
I wander what would be an example of an enemy being "affected" by Biotics but not "rag dolled."

I suppose one example would be casting Pull on a shielded/armored enemy.  They seem to glow and stagger for a few seconds even if they don't get lifted up in the air.
So it might be worth it to spam Pull on a squadmate like Jack/Jacob even against enemies with Armor/Barriers/Shields as long as you're using Warp Ammo.  Interesting.

First thing that comes to mind would be warp or reave (when not affecting defenses).

Isn't Warp "instant?" Or does it leave a lasting effect?

Warp and reave are "instant" against shields/barriers/armor but do DOT damage to health.

Adept + Singularity + Warp Ammo suddenly is uber.

+100% damage against Barriers, Armour and HP? Yes please.

I'm just curious, but using this same math/logic:

Since we know that frozen enemies are supposed to get a bonus when hit by "fire type" weapons/abilities, does this mean that a frozen enemy hit by Incendiary Ammo will take 40/60/80/120 (Inferno) damage from to frozen targets over 3 seconds? And what does this mean for Incineration?

The only thing I want to know now is: how much damage does Biotic Detonation do?

Does the Warp or detonated biotic rank affect the Detonation damage?

As a Van-Charge that uses the squad cryo/ personal inferno combo it seems that frozen enemies don't burn and burning enemies won't freeze.  So I don't think you get your DOT from inferno ammo vs frozen targets.  But I guess that doesn't matter because you are getting double damage anyway.
