As for your last point its not dumb, one poster hit upon the reason when he said that this is a STORY based game, the decision not to be able to import your dead warden's choices breaks the story. A story I might add that they did a good job of getting people invested in, which is the main reason why people are so pissed now.

I'm sorry but I fail to see how you can argue for importing a dead character, a *dead* character that results from the cumuluative experiences of the *story* in which you chose to sacrifice yourself and die for the betterment of Ferelden. That's why they have you starting a character that comes from Orlais if you can't import because of said sacrifice.

You realise I'm talking about not being able to import the dead warden's choices AND play as the Orlesian warden with said choices impacting the game.  Something you yourself seem to decry 1 post later.

It's funny how you complain about Bioware and the game, yet you haven't even registered the game yet. Somehow I have the feeling you played the pirated version, and then decided to actually complain about it too! The nerve..

Actually I just haven’t registered it, neither have I registered my copy of Mass Effect 2. Sorry, I didn’t realise that forfeited my rights to have an opinion.

I know everyone is complaining about making the US and how it is not addressed. Bioware stated that (MASS EFFECT SPOILER AHEAD)
if you had died at the end of ME2 you will not be able to import your "dead" Shepard into ME3. You simply play as a "new" Shepard. Now, in Awakening they actually give you a whole new character to play as! The US should be just that, if you respect your character, start as the Orlesian warden! Problem solved. Or, do a second playthrough as a new character and don't do the US. I have 2 characters, and neither did the US, but if they had I would simply let them RIP. Bioware even gives you the option of taking back that decision if you feel so inclined. I don't see what else they can do. Explaining how your warden somehow returns from the dead seems like a cop out on the whole US thing, so people would complain it ment nothing if they went that route. You can't make everyone happy. I'm just grateful you can import your character at all.
