Zev is definately one of my favorites, he's a very interesting character, once you get to know him. I also love Morrigan and Alistair, their banter together is great, and with Zev added to that party its even better. Sten and Leliana I like least, Sten because he acts like I'm the dumbest thing on planet earth sometimes and Leliana for her maddening devotion to the Chantry. Wynne and Oghren are neutral at this time (I only just got Oghran, and only took Wynne with me at the Mages Tower). Shale is awesome, but I dont have room in my party for him.

Oghren is my favourite. I just love all his dialogue, and how funny is he when he is drunk. I must have him in my group, even though I'm already a 2hander dwarf.



I like Leliana as well, coz well she lets me do good stuff, unlike morrigan. Alistair is good as well, love his dialogue, lot'sa witty comments.

Which is surprising because I am quite scared of dogs in real life so a war dog didn't seem like a likely party member. But he is so adorable. I loved him after the first cutscene. Where as Alistair I loved from his trailer and wasn't disappointed at all in game.

Alistair. I can't remember the last time an RPG char made me laugh out loud multiple times. Plus he's super dreamy.

Alistair and Morrigan, Ali's leading the pack at the moment though, he's just a freakin blast to have in the party, never has a party member in a game actually made me chuckle and even laugh out loud before him =p Morrigan is a total hottie and can be witty as hell too, especially with/against Alistair, but she's such a tool sometimes, and it's hard for me to get her approval up whereas alastair and leliana just throw those +5s at me =p And, there's that option to have a 'personal' conversation with her that is pretty much a guaranteed -10 approval for me, so I have to save before i even talk to her....but we'll see =p Maybe i'll give up on her and just go with easy Lei

Alright I confess...I named the dog Indiana. So far working with the pretty boy, mama's girl and the french maid, now off to find rocky.

morrigan with alister or leliana. The banter between them is always fun. I actualy restarted the game because my first PC was a tank and I wanted alister in the party.

I never partied with Wynne, so I cant comment. I liked Oghren but he was shallow, so I lost interest.

So Zevran does get at least SOME depth then?

I thought he looked a little lame from character vids and stuff but I'm surprised to the extent of my hatred for the character.

For me, it's definitely Morrigan.  Some of that banter between herself and Lilliana (sp?) or Allistair is just hilarious when you're wandering around.  Allistair has some amusing comments of his own as well so I would put him at a close second.

One of the more off the wall moments that cracked me up was at the camp when you speak with Lillianna one time and she relates a story that causes her to break out into song.  While she's singing it shows the effect it has on everyone else at the camp showing how her song moves them or puts them at peace.  Then it shows Morrigan looking towards where the campfire where Lil is singing her tune and shows her shaking her head and rolling her eyes.  I found that funny as hell.

I was SO surprised with Alistair, I was expecting generic meathead tank but he has some great writing, wit and the right voice to pull it all together, brilliant character



Morrigan is also amazing... I really need to bring others in my group, im sure there all just as great

Leliana, she reminds me of Ruby on my Diamond Radeon HD 5870 running the game.

My party is normally Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana. I've barely used Wynne and I don't think I've ever used Zev. On my next playthrough I'm going to switch it up and probably use Shale, Wynne and Zev.

Alistair is both fun and serious, and real nice to have along your side though the adventures in ferelden. I've had him with me through everything so far... but that may be because he's a good tank.



Wynne. I was astounded when a friend of mine told me he killed Wynne. She's not only a great healer, but her character is very calm and consoling.

Wynne is not an option to me since she's pretty much dead! She went aggro on me... bad choice of words at the tower or those two women weren't meant to go together... I don't think I had much of an option there... When I
tried to have her in the party, the other chick freaked out and boom, fight was on!

I'll have to live with that. =)

The enigmatic Qunari is a marked contrast to the other, talky characters, which is why he stands out. On my first toon, I totally screwed up the responses. (The Qunari don't appreciate niceness, apparently.) His conversation swings seem to be really huge, too, when I got him to work on my mage he hit that massive strength boost (which let him don the Blood Dragon armor) really quickly. I was floored when he told the long parable when asked about mages. ("That's the most words I've ever heard you say." "I was saving them up.") He also gave a long (for Sten) speech to Dog after I recovered his sword. I actually really like that they don't give you a long introduction to the Qunari like they do the other races...it adds to the sense of otherness and alien-ness.



I like them all a lot, though.

Guess I am the odd one out, I ditched Alistair early. I like Shale, Leliana and Morrigan.
