So I'm having the hardest time deciding between Xbox and PC. I originally wanted this for the Xbox just because it makes my life so much easier. Don't have to worry about memory space, or what happens if my comp somehow can't run it, and with Xbox i can play this on my big screen, and i'll be able to relax in my comfy reclining chair, sippin some chocolate milk. But Im a big fan of mods, and I feel like I'll be missing out if i don't go PC. I mean I know they've said they'll try to release a bunch of dlc, but what about all the fan made stuff??? I doubt it. And my PC should be capable of running this with little to no problem, i ran the character creator just fine and even just recently cleared my memory...and thoughts? Anyone else having this problem?
Xbox 360 or PC???

Well in NWN the toolset was great for multiplayer use and worlds. Will similar happen with Dragon Age?

Are we going at it again? The answer is PC. If you absolutely positive you can't run it on PC than go for x-box because the game is to good to miss entirely. If you really love your x-box than order two copies - first playthru will be most likely unmodded anyway so you can make a first run on your big screen without loosing much, especially if you get to play with tactical view on PC later.
P.S. Yes, PC version is cheaper.

I am NOT getting both. From what I'm seeing, everyone is supporting PC version. So, I guess PC has won a new gamer. I'll preorder for PC.

Another couple of words: tactical view.

It's just that the PC version lets you use the toolset, meaning you'll have access to fan mods in addition to making your own content.

Yeah I've been playing Kotor and Medieval 2: Total war online and fan made mods really are a great thing, lol.

PC for the toolset and the 26" widescreen, not to mention, I suspect there will be more hotkeys for the PC.

I go PC just after watching how the game plays just seems like it will be smoother with ol' mouse and keyboard.

Xbox360 for me until I can get together the money for another kickass rig.
On a side note, Isn't BioWare in discussions with Sony and Microsoft to extend player content to the consoles as well as the mod tools? I thought I saw that in the interview on Gamespot.com.
Also, tactical view is in the console versions.... Click the left thumbstick (or one of the thumbsticks).
I think the only thing I may miss is mouse and keyboard. Anyway I will eventually get the PC version anyway, so there is no sense saying otherwise lol.
Have fun!

I'm wondering what percentage of people hyping the toolset will actually have success with it.

Decision has finally been made for sure. Found out you can actually turn your TV into a monitor, something i had no idea of, for some reason. So, thank you everyone!!!

Even if someone doesn't do good at making mods they can still play other people's mods. I think that is why they are saying things like one word ''toolset'' and such. Even if they themselves may or may not use the toolset.Cla-Wi wrote...

There's another point to consider. Not that I'm saying this game will be buggy, but... there will be bugs
There are ALWAYS bugs. And players can usually patch the bugs (given good modding tools, or even WITHOUT being given good modding tools) long before a corporate behemoth can get a patch out the door. So, even if you're not interested in new single player content, I would say you might still want the PC version for player patches and bugfixes.
As for the percentage of players who will have success with the toolset, the percentage doesn't have to be large, given the number of players this game is likely to have. All you need is about ten really talented people for some VERY worthwhile content to be made. And I am certain there will be more than ten.
