Ok so i never finished my last playthrough. but sinve ME 2 is out, this incomplete playthrough is the one i want to transfer to ME2.
anyway. it has been a pretty long time since i last played this game.
im stuck on the Lorik Qui'in mission. My journal tells me to "speak to Lorik Qui'n at the hotel bar. Take the elevator on the upper end of the plaza, opposite the entrance from the docking bay"
well i go to the hotel to talk to him but instead of giving me any dialog options, shepard just says "I should go"
How do i advance the mission?

Seems like you're pressing Space too often. Just activate Lorik once, don't try and skip his dialogue.

i thought that too. but turns out, im not.
i press the button to talk to him. once. and wait. but Shepard just says "i should go" instead of giving me any dialog options.

Apparently you miss some dialouge trigger.
By the way did you talk to Gianna Parasini in the hotel bar?
If i remember correct to activate Lorik's talk you must speak whit her before you will try to talk whit Loric because she will give you subquest to convince Lorik to testify against Anoleis.
Perhaps without that talk Loric will ignore you.

A few things maybe. Did you smuggle or turn in the Hanar? If you do, you're given the pass you need to get out. If you did talk to Lorik, he sends you into his base. Have you done that stuff? Gianna Parasini should be waiting for you when you're done, and could possibly be in the bar to your right when you walk in.

He/She says "I should go" before talking to Qui'in?
It seems odd. I remember that, after talking the first time with the turian, my Shepard, a really nice one XDDD, denies to kill anyone, so when I tried to talk again with Qui'in, she said "I should go". That's because there's no option to avoid the killing of this poor ERCS guards, so you must accept Qui'ins proposition no matter what it takes. After that, go to Garage gate and take the elevator to Binary Hellix offices.
