....and ya I did do all the side missions, get out of the mako to kill stuff, DLC packs, hunted every thresher maw, etc. I dont know how I missed it but I did. This is on my 360 too so I can do that trick either
Just pondering the whole lvl 60 thing?

I've already played through ME2....outstanding game, and I was lvling my character from the first game from lvl 50 up to lvl 60 and fell short by just a few thousand points (which I feel relieved to know that MANY have had this problem, not just my dumb ****). So i'm torn between playing alllll over again for 1 lvl or just saying screw it and do ME2 with my main char at 59. My question is this, I know you get tons more resources, money, exp points, what not....but is there any real lasting effect for not being lvl 60 when you start ME2? In other words, would I miss something HUGE that possibly wouldnt be able to get carried over...lets say for the 3rd game when it came out. It seems to me that the lvl 60 thing is mainly for braging rights which is cool, but I really dont have the time to rip through the first game all over again for this fact.

Well, I heard that if you kill a Thresher Maw on foot...so basically get it's health down really low in the Mako then step out the mako and throw a grenade or something and u get more xp. For PC we have console cheats, but I don't have anything else. I mean u have like 2 years until ME3...sooo...

..ya maw's rate a good 2000+ xp. I'm really not to worried about hitting the lvl 60 because it only seems to grant you additional money and resources and what not. I was just hoping for something bigger & better for actually lvling up to 60 and starting the game, but it's seems not all that important overall I guess.

Too short, needs 3 years of development and a hyping campaign like Halo 3.
