I haven't done anything with Zevran, except talk so far.

Basically I go to discuss something personal, and I see the "You must have quite a history. With women, I mean." question. I select it and then select the option "Perhaps you're right. I'd rather not know." Now he says something along the lines, that "I'm the only woman he has ever slept with"

Has anyone else got this?

I haven't.Maybe it's a dialogue glitch? Alistair says that though.

My approval is almost to the white. Perhaps its has to do with the character being in love with you and a high approval rating.

Maybe.I never got his approval higher than 80 when I went into the tent with him.

I had that, too. NO idea why. I had to break up with him, when I'd never been with him. I guess I asked him some question considered personal, which wasn't 'personal' in my view. The same thing happened to me on a run with my human male pc - he was suddenly in a relationship with Leliana. That one was a glitch - that happened at the end, & I'd been very careful about what he said to her.

I guess there might have been some triggers I hit, when trying to score the most approval points with him.

I've had Zevran think he was in a romance with my character when I was romancing Alistair, despite not kissing or sleeping with him. In real life I'll often indulge in saucy banter (not flirting, per se - I'm just very frank and a little bit rude) so I didn't put him down when he said he liked looking at me. He seems to take that as a relationship.

Alistair called me on it so I said he was the only one for me, so to speak, and after confirming that with Zev (for a big approval hit) he reverted to warm from care.

Later, I got his approval back up. I'd convinced Alistair to marry Anora (sacrificing love for the good of Fereldan, etc) and had spared Loghain so Al was no longer in party, and in Zev's last conversation where he talks of friendship, I clicked on "I think of you as more than a friend" and suddenly he was in love. It's a bit inconsistant. For an assassin who is supposedly wary of getting emotionally involved, he doesn't half give his heart easily.

I've had that happen with Alistair. My PC was in a romance with Zevran, when he suddenly told her she has to chose between them. I reloaded, and lo and behold, Alistair was at 100 love. I have no clue how that happened. My PC didn't even romance Alistair in the least little bit.

So I'm guessing that they can all glitch, especially Leliana, who my PC had to break up 3 times with in one play-through. And yes, she did choose all the "friends only", "hair is just hair", and "shoes need to be practical" lines.

About the "only woman he's ever slept with" that's very odd though. I have to go ask my co-Zev fangirls/boys about that one, since he states in the beginning that he prefers women, and tells quite a few stories about his female conquests. And then there's Rinna, of course. His reason for trying to commit suicide by Grey Warden.

He says you're the only woman he's slept with... in Ferelden. Little qualifier there. :D

Ha! Yeah, they all assume that because you have talked to them that your in a relationship. I wish the game had the friend only option. I mean heck, you can do it with Morrigan--even if your playing a dude AND have slept with her.

Addai to the rescue. Yeah, that line I know. I guess I took the OP too literally. What can I say, it's Monday morning :)

Heh, I should confirm things before I type them!

Edit: And how do people miss the romance lines?  They are SO obvious with Zevran.  "What is it you fancy." "After I ravish you in celebration."  "So you NEVER mix business with pleasure?" "Do you stare at everyone like that?"  Leliana, it seems to be, "OOOOH, I love shoes!"  Go figure.

Second edit: His answer there is so funny.

I've had Zevran think I was in a romance with him while romancing Leliana also, but the epilogue did not back up his claims.

Rofl. True, so true. My first PC was a bit of a snob in clothing and such, but never in her wildest dreams did she think that loving shoes would lead to Leliana loving her.

What's more, in my other game, my PC studiously avoided all positive agreements about hair, shoes, etc. Never went the 'forbidden fruit' way, and never, ever touched the "what's a girl like you..." And still Leliana thought they were in love. Three times. Gah!

Also, with Zevran, it's too easy to turn off the romance permanently, and he'll never flirt again. Leliana, no way. She just keeps forgetting you told her you're not into women!

One of my mages had Leliana at 100 Love and bedded. While we were out and about in Denerim I decided to stop by the Pearl for a foursome and, lo and behold, Alistair (at 100 Friendly, never romanced) interjects but doesn't oppose while Leliana just stands in silence. It ended up being a threesome with just Isabela and Zev. I do like to imagine that Leliana smacked Alistair while we were gone.

Depends on the gender. In my first playthough as a male elf Lel made that obnoxious speach about how nice elves have is back in Orles and my PC chose a somewhat forceful reply ... and it basically killed all of the talk options for her for the rest of the game. Never got to see any of the other talks that would have trigged the romances or personal quest.

Yeah, I had a similar problem with Zev. It was a little confusing.

If you don't want the romance with Zevran, just tell him, "It's never going to happen." You won't get an approval ding, and it's off permanently. If you flirt at all (and the lines are so obvious, people), you will turn it on.

Well, "No" and "Never" are so vague and ambiguous though. Tuff stuff ;)

You didn't sleep with him, he slept with you.

He is very stealthy.

Edit: Nothing sexual, he just watches you as you sleep, your eyelashes flutter like butterflies.

Well, he actually says, "bedded." Which makes that thought a bit creepier, Herr Uhl . . .

That's a little creepy, then again him being an assassin I should expect him to be creepy.

You know how it is with foreigners, one killed a whole family for no valid reason and has gotten his libido removed and the other two are sex-crazed stalkers, of which one "gets visions" and the other enjoys killing people. And both of the latter seem to have a routine of sleeping with their victims before killing them.
