How many of you wanted to punch Zaaed?

I liked him. About the only bad thing I can say about him was that he was not even close to Shale.

I really see this kind of mutual respect growing between him and paragon Shepard after s/he punches him. Like, he's mad/angry/uncontrollable as hell, but for someone like Shepard, who has the guts to just outright punch him and order him around, he might just try to control himself just this once for the suicide mission after all. At least that's the impression I got.

Listen to what he has to say on Ilium about contracts, and the comments he makes on Purgatory.
Besides, he is a total badass in a fight. Did every mission with him.

Personality aside Zaeed is one of the best characters in the game for combat, and he does have some pretty funny lines:
"That's going to bite you in the ass someday."
Your Shep looks like one of the Village People... Zaeed would take one look at you, laugh, then dunk your head in the toilet.

His loyalty mission was just another misinformation fest. I HATE not getting the right intel, and being jerked around. I would have left him to die, but my character was too Paragon to waste him as a resource for the final mission.
And yes, I would punch TIM, too. I don't own him anything. Bringing me back to life and expecting me to be amorally loyal to him is uncharacteristically stupid.

He's the worst character ever created in any videogame I've ever played.

My paragon Sheps never pass up an opportunity to punch that bastard. My renegades would prefer to just kill him after he pulls his little stunt with the explosions and such, but sadly, the option never comes up... at least I don't think it does. Anyway, he's too much of a loose cannon for my taste.
I remember someone saying that if you do his loyalty mission after finishing the game, the Paragon option is to leave him to die.

The renegade ending is so good though, when he catches Vido.
"Fry you son of a ****!"
I felt the Paragon ending was weak and that he would never be loyal to you, they just threw Paragon player's a bone.

Its funny how this one incident polarizes people. Shep's party is made up of assassins, psychopaths, geth, and quasi-terrorists, but the guy who goes too far for a good reason is the one everyone hates. Killing Vido saves more lives than saving the refinery hands down.
But that's not why Z wants to do it.

I always wondered if Joker says that to Paragon players. Becasue it's so true for my Renegade. We are two peas in a pod.
