Free is always nice. But free isn't the same thing as good. Just because something is free doesn't mean that it's beyond criticism.Mercuriol wrote...
Lazy Bioware. Blegh the free DLC is nice and all that, but it's just plain stupid not being able to see your characters faces on the other armors.
I just don't see the point in giving away free stuff no-one will use. It doesn't matter how awesome it is.

Wait, you want to see your character's face ON his/her armour? That would be funny. I support that. However, the removal of helms is just pointless. I'd rather have the ablity to have flowers on the Normandy and water them in a mini game than to be able to remove my helmets.

Yes, it is working as intended.XxTaLoNxX wrote...
No. Nothing is being done because the DLC armors and the helmets are working as intended. Get over it already.
It is the intention that isn't working.

It's a shame too, since Bioware went though great lengths to perfect the eye-movement of the character models to enhance the overall presentation of the characters in a realistic way.

It's not just that. It's also a great shame because they took the time to make these great extra armors - and now, hardly anyone uses them.wyarbrough wrote...
I know its like beating a dead horse but an auto-toggle like the way it worked in DA:O would be great. People don;t play just for stats, they like the story and the immersion. People want to see the facial expressions of their character.

They didn't even make a female version. I doubt they spent that much time. They're likely just scraps they didn't finish and stuck in as DLC.

Well, I suppose that's something. At least they are aware of the issue enough to not care.T0paze wrote...
Well, of course something's being done. Ignoring. They actively ignore this issue.

The game already does this. When you've chosen to wear the N7 armor without the breather helmet in the walldrobe and you go to a planet that needs one (hazardous atmospheres, midpoint of the game) the game forces the change on the armor.Aidunno wrote...
Trouble is getting the two models to change on the fly within the game whenever they are needed. You also need to consider that the "non-helmet" model isn't a single simple model, it's a model of your character based upon the settings chosen for appearance.

Yes, because all the stat minmaxing is done in the specing of the character. <_<
Whatever, I have all of the Armor, I enjoy using them all too.

Alternatively they should just make some DLC armors that don't have a helmet that covers the face (unless on uncharted world)

Easily or not, they just MUST fix this, period.
Or what? You'll break your arm at them? Seriously....not gonna happen. At best we'll discourage them from doing it again.

I actually love the Blood Dragon Armor, Terminus Armor, and Collector Armor helmets.
