So i was wondering, since my Grey Warden is dead after making the ultimate sacrifice and importing him is not an option for me since i dont want to f*** up the story and i loved my ending, will i be able to have all my items and stuff as the Orlesian Grey Warden or maybe i can get them eventually in Awakening somehow?? Like Alistair giving them to me as help or something??
Because one thing is losing my main character for story purposes but losing all the items too would be too much.
Big doubt...

uhmmm you are dead, why would you keep your items after you are dead? and somehow transported to a character that had nothing to do with origins?

I just said an example, Alistair or someone else could give me the items, or i could find them somewhere, because i doubt that they buried my Grey Warden with lots of armour, items, etc, it would be stupid.
If there is no way in keeping the items if your character die then they are punishing you too much for taking that decision (the best one IMO).

Can't you just imagine a grave robbing scene at the beginning to get your armour back lol

Didn't they include the option to revive a dead warden (removing all punishment) just for people like you?

Yes, you get to regain your crap that you packratted all game. But you have to earn it, by completing a looooooong trial with a degree of difficulty that you can only come across in Demon's Souls, and it involves doing an Indian rain dance on your hands(backwards mind you) the whole time.

No, they included the option of having importing your "dead" Warden and if you do the game just asumes that you didnt do the sacrifice so it is just stupid to do if you are roleplaying and you liked your ending. Read the faq, they explained it there.

Probably not. If you don't import a save, the game doesn't know what you wore. If you do import a save, you have to play as the PC you've imported.

I think I will do this for my anti-hero that I will be creating in Origins.

I thought i could import a save to let the game know my desicions in origins and still play as the Orlisian Warden since i thought the game would recognize my end game decision, if its not like this i would be highly disappointed at Awakening since i thought that the concept of playing as the Orlisian Warden hearing all the people in Fereldon talking about your Origins hero was just great.
It would be nice if a dev could clear this up for me.

For the love of the Maker.... can you devs clear this up for me???
I thought it could be epicly awsome to play with the new Warden hearing all the things my old hero did, and now it seems its not much like that

Holy s*** dude cut it the hell out. The devs visit this forum allot, more then the majority of other forums, but their not at our freakin beck and call.
People have told you it's highly unlikley. When you start a new warden it doesn't seem to interact in anyway with your old games. A clean slate if you will.

"Holy s*** dude cut it the hell out."
I will, when i feel like it.
"People have told you it's highly unlikley"
Iam asking the devs, i dont care what you think it is likely to happen or not.
And not DJRankine, that isnt even close to answer anything. Exactly what i want to know is if we can import a Dead Warden save AND play as the Orlisian Warden with the game recognizing everything you did before, so saying that when you import a save means you MUST import your Warden even when you load a US save is bull**** till a dev says so.
Please people if you are going to post try to read and THINK a little... jeez.

Let me rephrase that:
Didn't they include the option to revive a dead warden (removing all punishment) just for people like you who for various reasons can't deal with the consequenses of actually being dead?

Sorry POPWW3 but it looks like you won't get your gear if you don't import your "Dead Warden" because any new characters made in the expansion are essentially different from the character you made in Origins. I may very well be wrong but just look at the FAQ.
