Dear god... again you couldnt be more wrong, I WANT MY DEAD WARDEN TO STAY DEAD!!! And i still want to load the US save so when i play as the Orlisian Greay Warden the game can still recognize the desicions i made with my old hero and maybe somehow get my items back, the later being less important IMO.
It is really sooo hard to understand???

Yeah DarkOsprey26 i looked at the FAQ but it doesnt do a good job explaining how we can use the US save file; though they do say that you can revive your dead warden but then again iam asking here hoping that is not the only thing you can do with the US save, it would be stupid and a mojor disappointment for all the people that chosed the US way.

Also the fact that many people are asking the same as me in the QA thread and that the devs have answered most questions lately exept this one makes me think two things:

They dont want to answer because they know their response would be a major disappointment for us customers so they could lose sales or they realized how stupid is it to waste one of the best endings in the game and maybe they are working on this so they cant answer till they are ready.

Either way if the devs had something concrete and positive to say about this matter they would have responded already. I just hope they have good news about this before release.

Doubt it. Also, it would be unecessary. The devs have stated multiple times that your equipment from Origins would be fairly useless in Awakenings due to the equipment in awakenings being far superior.

Nobody thinks it's difficult to understand. I mean, reading your original post it's pretty clear that it's all about you wanting to keep your items even though you died which is what I also replied to, no matter what you want to pretend that you actually wrote back then. I'm just saying that some choices have consequences. You died, nobody stores your stuff until your new warden arrives. It's gone, Oghren probably sold it for beer. Deal with it, or don't, I don't really care.

Yep, if you died in DRO you can import you dead Grey Warden and play as him, but you can't import him and have him still be dead. So if you don't want to play as a dead Warden, you have to go with the default Awakening Warden.

Seriously, i know my first question was specifically about the items, wich AGAIN, would be cool if you could somehow get them as the Orlisian Grey Warden (it shouldnt be difficult to make an easy excuse for this to happen).
THEN AGAIN i clearly said that the items arent a major concern for me now, but the most important thing i want to know first is if i can load a freacking US save file and play as the Orlisian Greay Warden with the game recognizing everything your old hero did. WOW this is like the 4th time i have to say the same thing, i feel like iam in kindergarten for the love of god.

Deal with not having my items back? I guess i could do that, but i couldnt deal with the idea of making the US ending save to just be usefull if you want to revive your Warden, because i dont want to cause that is bull****.

Do you realize that the ONLY one that could answer my questions is a dev?? can you get that in your small brain?? can you? just try a little, or better yet! tell your dad or a grown up to read the thread for you and then explain it to you. Well nobody from bioware has directly answered the question of whether or not importing a us save will have that warden's choices reflected in the orlesian warden's world. I think that is POPWW3's point. And it is a valid one because no one from bioware HAS given a definative answer

It sounds like if you import a character that used the US ending, they basically overturn your chosen ending, give you a pat one (say, whoever you picked is king/queen, & someone did the DR) - and that negates the US ending entirely.

They haven't addressed that issue as far as I can tell. All they've said about the US is that you can play a dead warden if you're willing to have a "hmm...never happened! All a missunderstanding. Just a flesh wound, really." mindset. What you're wanting to know is what a lot of people want to know; and the developers have been silent about it. You can rant about that, sure, but I prefer to think of possible reasons for silence; one possibility is that there's something better in mind. -shrug-

I don't know the answer, you are absolutely correct in that statement, however, since so many people HAVE answered the question and none of the devs have corrected them, I suspect that the answer everyone is giving and that the OP doesn't want to see is the correct one.

I already said that it is very posible that we wont be able to use the US save file as most of us want to, BUT the devs have seen this question many times now and for some reason they wont give an answer at all, that makes me hope that they may be up to something like silverholly83 said, OR that they dont want to answer because they know we will get pissed off by their response (and yeah i already have said this too...), and the ONLY way to know this for sure is to keep questioning the dev team till they say something or wait till Awakening comes out.



Also guys you can be mad at me for being rude and flaming and what not like Aeto, BUT stop saying that this is a closed issue because it is not, i really cant belive how many of you have a problem understanding that only a dev can clear this up, maybe you guys love to state pointless opinions and all, but not even one of you will know the answer to this till a dev says something, the stupidity and inability to comprehend a post of some of you leaves me speechless, it is like talking to a wall or a 3 years old kid.
