I already said that it is very posible that we wont be able to use the US save file as most of us want to, BUT the devs have seen this question many times now and for some reason they wont give an answer at all, that makes me hope that they may be up to something like silverholly83 said, OR that they dont want to answer because they know we will get pissed off by their response (and yeah i already have said this too...), and the ONLY way to know this for sure is to keep questioning the dev team till they say something or wait till Awakening comes out.

Also guys you can be mad at me for being rude and flaming and what not like Aeto, BUT stop saying that this is a closed issue because it is not, i really cant belive how many of you have a problem understanding that only a dev can clear this up, maybe you guys love to state pointless opinions and all, but not even one of you will know the answer to this till a dev says something, the stupidity and inability to comprehend a post of some of you leaves me speechless, it is like talking to a wall or a 3 years old kid. I have repeated myself like ten times already, it is really amazing.

You mean you have repeated you flame posts ten times, right? And maybe we wouldn't have to keep telling you the damn answer to you question if you get it through you thick skull and understand that a dev will not pop up and answer a question that ten people have already answer for you.

Perhaps it would be more fruitful to send an email or make a phone call to bioware hq. Why post the topic in a forum knowing that everyone except the devs will reply when you constantly bump your topic and demand a response.

You may be absolutly right, but i know for a fact that the devs know about this. Thats good enough for now, i just keep bumping to remember them or better yet to remember everyone that wants to know the same thing that i do that the devs have yet to attend this matter, eventually they will say something for the worst or for the best.

I won't go into this flaming, but I think if you've read these forums often enough in the last two months, you might see WHY those ten other people came to this conclusion.

The reason the others here are pointing this out is Bioware's past track record. I'll use the RTO release on PS3 as a basis for my conclusion. Bioware is fairly timely in their responses on this site. You can see posts by Mr. Gaider etc on fairly regularly on this site. HOWEVER, the one time posts are non-existant / delayed are when there is bad news involved.



No information about the release date for RTO was posted during the critical WEEKS the PS3 users were waiting on information. All they wanted was the same thing you do now. Clairification on their question. They never uttered a word on the matter until the offical release date was ready.



At this point in Awakenings life cycle (and this is particularly true about any large-budget game or add-on) its extremely late for any additional content or especially cnahged features. This game is on retail shelves in 20 days. This is the time that most if not ALL games are in the final stages of production. Bug fixes, final testing, packaging of printed disks / materials etc. It's much much too late for there to be significant changes like an ENTIRE STORYLINE CHANGE.



Therefore, if it WAS going to be possible, they would just tell us. They love giving us good news (look at all the posts in the last week...) and are very tight-lipped on bad news.



Take the info they gave and add common sense and this is why everyone's giving you the same answer.

Really? like lets say what a 99% of any company do, right? yeah i know they wont say the bad news and guess what, i already posted here that at this point they would have said it if they had something good to say. And i even said that the only thing i can do now is hope they are trying something or who knows what.
I even said multiple times that, while a small chance, if they are not going to do anything usefull with the US save file i want them to tell me so, and i have no problem bumping this over and over, also i cant force them to answer i want them to know how stupid they are if they just waste the US ending.

If you have a problem with me bumping this then try to do something usefull for you and dont come in this thread.

If you really have read the entire thread then you should know i already stated almost every posibility, and i even said that i just can hope and keep asking till they say something or Awakening comes out (at that point if they indeed wasted the US ending i will change my position from questioning to a rant stand of course).

So as you can see nothing from what you said is news to me, and while you clearly stated your point without being as stupid as many others you still fail to see the point here.

You are sure that they wasted the US ending and that everyone that keeps asking for an explanation lacks common sense, but the truth is that we are not still sure, and while it may be like you say we still want the devs to know how stupid they were. And maybe they could create a patch or something, who knows.

But then again, if you dont like me and many others to keep asking for an explanation thats your problem, because i will keep bumping and asking all the times i want. The truth is you cant be sure, you just have an opinion (based in good facts and all but it is still an opinion at this point) and like i have said before i dont care for your opinions dude, sorry but you wasted your time, now gtfo my thread.

If you fail to see the point on how they aren't going to change a game that's in the final stages of production, and that if it were possible they would just let us know to entice more people into purchasing their new expansion, then there's no hope for you my friend.

Now that we are at it Chris, you know that the item question was the less important, you did a good work at playing the fool here, the most important thing we all want to know is if we can load a US save and play as the Orlisian Warden while having the game recognize the desicions our old hero made in the game.

The devs didnt say anything about this issue and the faq just says that you can play as your "dead" warden, cant you see the multiple topics in the first page that are asking the same thing as here?? why dont you go and troll them too?

For crying out loud, just wait till the game comes and out, and wait for someone who plays the game to answer your questions. Sure you may have to wait an extra day to get the game if this is a deal breaker for you, but at least you'll know for sure then, and you can stop getting so worked up on the forums.
