That is what it seems we all have to do, but iam in all my right to tell my opinion in this forum, so i will just keep at it like it or not, also check the "playing as the dead warden = bull****" thread and you will see iam not the only one with this problem, there are even more threads about it, but that one has more post than most i think.

Also having so many people with the same issue and asking about it just like in this thread comes to show how much of a  failure are trolls like terrak.

Also--I cannot see how this matters to me one way or the other if DA:O decisions are imported via US or DR endings, since I have every ending for every character all ready to go. All I have to do is import and go!

Of course they're the same person, they're writing style is exactly the same, still insulting other people, still quoting people in a strange way... and Rama_88 joined the forum yesterday and doesn't have a registered copy of Dragon Age... the evidence is pretty clear.



And as for IP bans, it's not hard to make a new account and post from somewhere with a different IP address...

I took a wrong turn somewhere after the "What?!-I-don't-get-to-keep-my-DLC-gear" thread but before the "I-hate-Ohgren" thread. Now I am lost and confused and I ended up here, so sad and lonely.



Also--I didn't say I didn't care. I said it doesn't matter--two separate things.

If you want to see what happens in DA:A with a US ending, complete DA:O and do that option. If you want to see what happens with a DR ending, complete a DA:O game and choose that option. This game is full of suprises and will keep anyone engaged long enough to do two complete games.

Even if you can't let go of your original Warden and cannot stand the idea of doing the game over again, then create a save right before the CS with Morrigan and go from there, that way you can see what the difference is without resorting to calling everyone names and other sorts of jackassary.

You may be absolutly right, but i know for a fact that the devs know about this. Thats good enough for now, i just keep bumping to remember them or better yet to remember everyone that wants to know the same thing that i do that the devs have yet to attend this matter, eventually they will say something for the worst or for the best.

But yeah i could try with an email though i higly doubt someone will answer; here at least iam not alone asking.

All I can say POP is..good luck with your endeavour.   We have a 30 page thread going about the Ultimate Sacrifice..thats been going for some days now, and still no response.  

Far as I know..nobody "important" has even deigned to read the concerns in that thread...and another assumption...nor do they intend to.

There may be several reasons for that...answer not being given:  could be a spoiler, could be an oversight on their part, and they are currently fixing that, could be they don't care .......could be they have assigned some other Origins story as "canon" and therefore the Ultimate Sacrifice is ignored, forgotten and tossed in the dust bin.

Like i already said iam new to the board; didnt see or minded for a quote option, but to make you happy lets do it this way. So you are saying iam in a different pc WITH a different Ip (so different internet connection) just to post from this account? But not only that, POP said english is not his first language but IT IS mine so yeah
Iam sorry but that doesnt sound realistic dude, sorry but just like POP there are tons of others that are adressing the same issue. Like i said see the topics in the first page.
Also POP was being really agresive, i just agree that some people here seem to be fools and or trolls, deal with it.

Chris put it in the most succinct and clear way imaginable. But you guys don't want an answer, you want YOUR answer. Your not gonna shut up until a dev says "oh yeah sure, you get your items back." But you don't, so they won't say that, and everything they've said so far is contrary to this. How much clearer can you be when you say, "you don't get your items back."

Did i ask about the items? No. I asked if we will be able to import JUST our desicions from the US ending to Awakening (so we would be playing as the orlisian warden) and he didnt answer that of course.

I really dont know what are you guys smoking, it is pretty damn clear what we want to know, yet Chris just answered the Items question, wich is good of course but not my question at all. Please try to read next time.

Our answer? Are you mentally challenged dude? Did you see the link i gave you?

An answer could be like this: "Sorry guys but we are not going to do anything else with the US save, you can just play as your dead warden if you load it" or something like "Yes guys you will be able to load that save and the game will recoginze all your desicions and you will get to play the orilisian warden"

That would answer our question, Chris answered an ITEMS question, is it that hard to understand?

I was responding to his answer about the items. I was responding to the fact that you were acting like Chris was "playing dumb" to everyone except you. The dead warden stuff has been addressed about a billion times over. It would be pretty stupid if your choices DID NOT transfer over. It's just common sense, as well.

If you don't import I am guessing all your decisions die and a canon ending will be chosen. And so you will not get your gear

Amen to that dude, i thought the exact same thing as you, it would be amazingly stupid if my choices do not transfer over except if i play as my dead warden and ruin my ending. And i also thought that was just common sense, i thought it was impossible for the devs to overlook something like that, BUT then i come to the boards and there are tons of post and threads asking this same question and while the devs where answering ANY kind of question they didnt say one word about this issue, wich makes us belive that they really overlooked that.

Again, just see the "playing with dead warden = BS" thread and you will see how many people have this same question and the devs didnt even said yes, no or maybe.

Here is my answer:

XD I cant get mad at you anymore, you must be a mentally challenged dude or maybe you didnt finish highschool, anyway its not worth arguing with someone that cant read or comprehend a simple text to save his life.

In the old thread you made wrong assumptions every post; POPWW3, me and others stated the US issue as clearly as it is stated in the "playing with dead warden = BS" thread, only that there are far more people, and now we have a new one in the first page. Why dont you go there and try to argue with them too? Because you know you were wrong all along? Because you are ashamed of your epic fail post?

Its understandable though, you failed in a horrible way, saying things like "Chris put an end to the discussion" when he answered the less important question and avoided the question that by now is all over the forums and you thought it was a simple issue already answered lots of times (your words).

I must congratulate you though in still keep playing dumb when you probably know how bad you failed at this point, i advice you to just recoginze how stupid you are and read some books or something. Or even better! go to the topics discussing the same issue and argue with them about how their question has been answered lots of times, giving the proper links and all you have of course, please keep at it, you are really amusing

The FAQ says that if we import our save game with a dead warden, we play as the dead warden and get all our gear with us. Chris said that when we play as a new guy we get new gear. The only way to transfer over our gear is to import our DA:O game and play as our DA:O warden (which is fully alive in Awakenings even if he/she chose the kamikaze ending for some reason). The only way to play as the Orlesian warden is to start a new game in Awakenings without importing anything.



So basically it's:

1. Import your DA:O warden = play as the DA:O warden with all the gear.

2. Play as the Orlesian warden = play a new game without importing and some default gear.



Personally, I think it's not a major letdown if we don't get the gear from our dead warden. After all they did promise us a lot more awesome loot in Awakenings. I think BioWare will stay true to their word...



...OR some of our expert DA:O modders will create better gear for Awakenings hehehehe.

On a bit of a side note, If you look at the FAQ, any loot you get from DLC from Origins won't carry over. I Really liked the Grey Warden Commander armor, I was hoping to keep that for Awakenings as well....
