Legion: "We left the manuscript in Life Support. We appreciated reading it."
Thane: "Any comment on it?"
Legion:
"Descriptions might be over-detailed for literature standards. We
suggest you to rewrite your biography accordingly."

Ok, I didn't get this one - probably something I missed in the Thane conversation tree.

Drell can remember their memories perfectly, I played on that :P

I can see Jacob lifting weights in the armory, bare-chested.
And Grunt next to him going like "CMON! TEN MORE! YOU CAN DO IT!"

To continue in this vein:

Grunt: I can do more pushups than both of you, combined.
Jacob: Grunt, I'll take that challenge, any day of the week.  Have you seen these biceps?
Garrus: I always thought that pullups were a better metric of upper body strength.
Jacob: Garrus, you're just saying that because you have light bird bones.  Pullups are easy if you don't weigh anything.
Jack: Why don't you boys just get out a ruler?
Garrus: For what?

LOL :D;)

Bring back the elevators for people who want immersion and leave in the quick transports/loading screens for people who want 5 second loading.

After a very drunken and wild party in afterlife the entire crew stumble back onto the ship.

That morning afterwars garrus is walking around with the rest of the crew pointing and laughing at him.

Garrus: hey Shepard whats everyone pointing and laughing at my back for.

Shepard: *stands up and walks around the mess to look at Garrus's back* ... erm you may want to speak to jack about his

Garrus : oh no. . . *looks aross at jack with evils*, jack what did you do?

Jack: remember that pole that fell out of your ass, well i just drew where it used to be so your'll never forget it.

Jacob: hah, nice one jack.

Jack: dont know what your talking about jacob, i have the video image from EDI, your really like grunt dont you.

Jacob what the hell!?

Jack: and while i'm pissing on everyones morning Shepard we all saw you and Miranda last night, or rather herd you, and what we think was kelly, it was either kelly or tali

Shepard: jack it was you.

*akward silence as the crew all stare at each other with horror on there faces*

Yup, I had no issue with the elevators, nice immersion. Though I can't remember what it was like on the 360 version, as I haven't played that since the PC version was released.

The elevators got a lot of flack in ME for being too slow. The only elevator that actually bothered me in ME was the one on the Normandy. It was extremely slow and there was no banter or news to kill the time. All the other elevators were fine in my opinion

Yes there was. Its just they usually end before halfway of the elevator ride. They could have had BOTH news and banter on same trip. It would have been perfect, and not as boring.

Honestyl though, most of the Geth aim quite well at yourself, so they must have additional instruments for 3D vision. Not only one camera-eye ;-)

Garrus: Tali, do you ever wonder what the Volus look like without their pressure suits?
Tali: No, not really.
Garrus: You're not dying to find out? They could be hiding anything under there...
Tali: I fail to see how anyone could be that interested in what an alien species looks like naked. Even if we did find out, we'd probably just be disappointed.

Tali: (weary) Yes?
Garrus: What do you look like under that suit?
Tali: Myself.
Garrus: ...right.
Tali: You show me out of your suit, I'll show you me.
Garrus: Oh, look at the time, its Geth killing time.

I completely agree with you on this.

Apart from the one on the Normandy, they were just fine and added a lot to the immersion and flow of the game.

What bugged me about the evelators in ME 1 was more to do with their positioning than thing else, so that it became annoyingly hard to get around without having to stand in one for awhile. Even if you went to the Citadel to check the shop in c-sec, that required the use of a lift.

I wouldn't want the Elevator chats back. But I would love triggered chats between characters ala Dragon Age. We only had the one between Tali/Garus. Needed so many more.

Unfortunately I think they decided not to do this in favor of the area triggered news broadcasts. They work in exactly the same way.

Thats what we're after too.

And yeah, but the news triggers aren't as fun or interesting. And why do that when I can walk up to the news terminal and ask for a story to be read out...
