Is it possible to reach lvl 60 in one playthrough?

almost certain you have to do two. the gap between 59 and 60 is gigantic - even IF you kill everything that moves, pick up every item, do every quest, exhaust all conversations AND kill every single enemy on foot (NO MAKO!) i'm pretty sure you'll still fall short.

Maybe if you got all achievements which gives you 20% extra xp gain as i do, kill everyone outside mako, hunt down ALL rocks on uncharted worlds, kill ALL thresher maws, hack, salvage, decrypt everything you find. Problem with my playthrough is that i was capped to lvl 50...

If you start fresh with a lvl 1, you will need need to gain a total of 862,100 XP to become lvl 60

I know its a large number, but maybe its possible. If not, then you would become quite close to 60.

EDIT: you should also play on Insane difficulty. Dont listen to everybody who says u dont get more xp on higher diffucluties, becuase you do. You get more xp from enemies in higher lvls. When you lvl up and play on insane, enemies will scale up in lvl with you. higher lvld enemies = more xp, actually everything you do scales up in xp value the higher lvl you are. That means Codex, salvage, decryption, recover, survey and mission rewards. So in short you lvl up faster by playing on insane.

I curious, if you play the game twice(same character), at the end how many Char-Saves do you have?

I think it resets the save count. And the max experience in one playthrough, by squeezing every single point out of the game is enough to get you to 58, so you might as well not bother with it.

Depends on how often you save :P.

I'm not sure at 100%, but you must achieve level 60 first (playing twice or three times with the same profile). After that, is easier to reach high EXP levels, as some sort of reward for being an extreme gamer.

I've started a new profile from the beginning (level 1) and now, I've reached level 49 without playing nor secondary missions or DLCs, even without arriving at Virmire.

So I think that is possible.

No, it's not. It takes you more than half the game to get from 55 to 60. Even with the 20% boost from the combined achievements.

If you kill all the geth outside of the Mako, you are able to get to about level 57 or so, but ultimately you have to play again.

Or just use console cheats before you face Saren.

No because you have to beat the game once to even unlock level 50-60. Unless you mean starting a new character AFTER unlocking those levels. Even then it'd be pretty hard although not impossible. I got to level 59 in one playthrough. Some tips I would give out is, don't kill anyone while in the Mako because it gives less experience and I've noticed making the right paragon/renegade choices helps because sometimes picking a Paragon option ends the quest early whereas Renegade could have drawn it out longer and possibly earned you more experience. I shafted on getting out of the Mako to kill anyone towards the end or I'm sure I could have hit 60 with that character.

Edit: I was playing on Insanity. I think it made a difference in the amount of experience I earned.

Level 59 is a very long way off of level 60. Namely, 200.000 exp points (you only need 600k-ish for 50, iirc, out of a total of 800.000 or so). And of course we're talking about a playthrough after 60 has been unlocked.

Well My first char ended game around 48 lvl and I haven't done all the assignments. After first game ended, I've started a new game I've unlocked some achievements and some of them gave you x% more xp. At the second play-through my char achieved 52. I've completed all the assignments I could get and I was sentinel so I've decrypted everything I've searched every rock I would find. But I always used Mako. I still play ME1 I've started new char; spacer-ruthless-soldier for finishing game with full renegade. I haven't checked my all assignments but you should play more and open all the achievements they gave all good bonuses.

It is possible, but you have to use a "cheat". I am on the XBOX and when you first meet Liara and she is trapped inside the "bubble", after you first conversation with her, save your game and then load it back up, you will gain experience. Save again, and load it up, and you'll get the experience again. I sat down one day and started this cheat at level 7, 3 1/2 hours later I was level 60. With each level you gain more experience, but of course it takes more experience to get to the next level. If you want to hit it in one playthrough it is possible with this "cheat".

It can be done, but only by use of the GiveXP command. And of course, after the level cap is raised from the default 50.

Nah actually you only need 250k-ish to become lvl 50. Its from lvl 50 to 60 that the XP amount becomes ridiculus. But yea the ultimate XP requirement to become lvl 60 (from lvl 1) is 862k Xp total

Ah, goddamned typos, I meant to write 59 there, not 50.

It's certainly hard but not impossible. Yes that's a pretty daunting amount of experience but as I said if you can save the quests that grant more experience until you're a higher level and make the right choices on quests you can maximize your experience earned and stand a chance at accomplishing this.

I think I'll just try to hit 60 in one playthrough so as to have a much more definitive answer.

Except that being a higher level only gives you more experience because there's a larger experience gap. You actually get the same amount of experience at any level, it just scales with your level.

I actually did this last year, many a' beer were downed in the prosses. Dos XX, Coors, Cornona, Miller, you name it, it was drank.

And thus, the first ever one week "beer drunk" Mass Effect playthrough was completed. It was a good thing.

How, exactly? There simply isn't enough stuff to do for the last bit of XP until 60. Hell, I barely reached it doing everything on my second playthrough from 54. True that I did kill with the Mako on that one, though.

Like I said, a lot of beer.

Is this including the DLC?
